Chapter 21

Moe's POV

It's been a few days since Sasuke told me he wanted me to run away with him to Orochimaru's. I thought about my life without Sasuke but staying in Konoha. It would be torture. Then I thought about my life with Sasuke without all my friends. Also torture. I sighed, 'You want to know about your past do you not? You will come to me with Sasuke-kun.' Orochimaru's voice rambled in my mind. He's right, I do want to know. Why was I given away? What happened to my mom and dad? Why was Miki sealed inside of me? I punched my wall, "Dammit." I muttered. I walked up to the photo of Team 7 and looked at it sadly. "I'm sorry Naruto." I said while putting the picture faced down on my dresser. I packed all my stuff and teleported to Sasuke's house. I knocked on his door and waited for him to come out. He opened the door and saw my stuff with me. He smiled and picked up my things putting them inside his house. It was the afternoon and it was going to turn to night soon so Sasuke and I decided to sleep until we leave. 

"Moe, wake up. We're leaving." Sasuke said while shaking my shoulder. I groaned and got up, "Alright let's go." We grabbed our stuff and walked up a hill to be meeted with the Sound Four. They knelt on one knee, "We've decided that you two should be our leaders. Forgive us for our earlier behavior." they said to us. "Let's go." Sasuke said. They got up and the one with two heads came up behind me, "Just sleep for the ride." he said while knocking me out. The last thing I saw was Sasuke dashing towards me.

Your parents never loved you. Why do you think they gave you away? Becasuse you're weak. That's why they gave you a beast, because they never loved you. Maybe they'll love you if you get stronger, maybe the villagers will stop looking at you like you're a monster. Come to me, my dear Moe-chan. I can give you much needed strength, I can make everyone except you. You want that don't you? For people to accept you? 

I saw myself as a kid crying because of the way the villagers looked at me. I glared, "I was weak back then." the kid version of me looked up and her eyes were red from crying, "Yeah, but if you were stronger maybe the village wouldn't hate us so much." she said to me. "What?" I said angrily. The little me held onto Orochimaru's hand, "He can help us." she said. I walked towards them and walked with them into darkness.

I jumped out of the barrel that was holding me and saw my curse mark going back into it's spot on my neck. I looked over slightly to see some guy with bones sticking out of his body and Naruto. I smirked and ran with Sasuke in a different direction of them. "Moe! Sasuke! Wait!" Naruto yelled at us. Sasuke and I ran to the Final Valley. We jumped onto Madara's head and started running towards Orochimaru's hideout. We ran for a while before we actually showed up at the entrance of the hideout. Orochimaru and Kabuto were at the front waiting for us, "Follow me." Orochimaru said. We followed obediantly. "It's nice of you two to join us." Orochimaru hissed. "Shut up and give me my power." Sasuke said coldly. Kabuto leant in and whispered to Sasuke, "You might not realize it but that is Lord Orochimaru. Watch what you say to him." he flinched at Sasuke's glare and stay back behind us.

Orochimaru led us to a room, "You two will have to share since we don't have enough rooms." he told us before walking off. Kabuto handed us some training clothes, "Training starts tomorrow in the morning, don't be late." he said walking off. We walked in the room to see that it was small. It had two dressers, a desk, a small bed, and a bathroom. "I'll sleep on the floor." Sasuke said. He grabbed a pillow and a blanket from the bed. He put them on the floor next to the bed and changed into some pajamas. I sighed and put on one of Sasuke's shirts and put on some shorts. I laid down in bed and let my hand hang over the edge. Sasuke laid down on the floor and held my loose hand, "Good night Moe." he whispered. I smiled softly, "Good night Sasu-kun." I whispered while falling asleep.

Naruto's POV

I sat in the hospital and held Moe's headband in my hands sadly, "Why Moe? I thought we were family." I whispered to myself. I was thinking when I heard a boom outside my hospital window. I opened the window to see Pervy-sage on top of a toad. "Yo, I see your wounds are healing quickly." he said to me. I looked at my arms and nodded. He frowned and jumped next to me, "Give up on Moe, and Sasuke." he told me. I glared him, "What?" I asked angrily. "They aren't coming back. Give up." he said sternly. I clenched my fists, "They don't mean anything to you but they're my friends and family! I won't give up on them!" I yelled at him. "Look what happened because they left you!" he yelled back. I blinked and looked away, "It isn't their fault..." I trailed off. "You need to forget about them. In the ninja world you need o make decisions like this all the time. If you're a fool you won't survive." Pervy-Sage told me. "I understand," he looked at me, "If that's what it means to be wise then I'll stay a fool for the rest of my life!" I told him. He blinked shocked at my words and I grinned, "I'll come up with an awesome jutsu and bring back Moe and Sasuke." I told him confidently. Pervy-Sage jumped up on his toad and laughed, "If you train by yourself, the best you could do is make up a perverted jutsu." he said. I glared, "But your idea might be stupid enough to work. Be ready tomorrow, I'm going to train you over these next three years." he told me. I saluted, "Yes sir!" I yelled.

 Moe's POV

It's been a week here at Orochimaru's hideout and I feel stronger already. Sasuke and I were outside working on taijutsu with Orochimaru watching. It ended up as a tie once again and Orochimaru clapped his hands together, "Okay, that's enough. Take a break." he said while getting up and leaving. I sighed and sat down. Sasuke sat down next to me, "This is some extreme training." he told me. I nodded, "At least you're here with me." I told him. He smiled and kissed my hand softly. We stood up to go back inside when somebody grabbed me, "Moe!" I heard Sasuke yell. I struggled against my captor and started yelling. Whoever kidnapped me knocked me out and kept running away. 

I came back to reality in an office looking room. I looked around and saw a door behind me. I got up and tried to unlock it, "Dammit." I muttered. I walked around to the desk and saw a bingo book sitting on top of a bunch of papers. I went to grab the book when the door started to open. I stood there and waited for the door to open. The door fully opened to show a man in a black cloak with red clouds on it. He had orange hair and peircings all over his face. "Who are you?" I asked. He walked up next to me, "I am Pein. The leader of Akatsuki." he told me. I looked at him weirdly, "What do you want with me?" I asked him. He kneeled down in front of me and looked me in the eye, "We would like you to join the Akatsuki." he replied. I crossed my arms and gave him a monotoned look, "What do you have to offer?" I asked. He smirked, "We have the strongest ninja from all over the world in our organization, prepared to meet you and train you. We also know everything about your past, something Orochimaru doesn't know." he told me. I blinked, "You know everything?" I asked. He nodded, "So what is your answer?" he asked me. I looked down for a second before looking back up at him, "I'll join."
