Sam's POV

Today Nate, Colby, and I were gonna film a video together.
We're gonna go to a haunted house, and honestly, I'm really excited!
Colby isn't really happy though..
I think he might feel left out, and I really don't want him to be.
Anyways, we're picking Nate up right now!

We see Nate standing on the sidewalk, waiting for us.

"Yo Nate!" I say as he opens the door of the car to get in.
"Hey guys!"
"Heyyy" Colby says.
I hope he's fine, he already seems a bit sad. I hate seeing him like that.

I decided to talk to Colby more, which I think really did help him!
He was really cheery, and I got to see his pretty smile a lot more. 
But I noticed one thing.
Whenever Colby spoke, Nate didn't seem interested.
I mean, Nate isn't like that, right?

"Hey Nate, do you wanna get something to eat before we reach the haunted house?" Colby asked.
He was in a good mood, and that made me ridiculously happy.
"Sure." Nate replied blatantly as he turned around to face the window.
Oh.
I saw Colby's smile disappear.

"Where do you guys wanna eat?" I asked, trying not to think about what just happened.
"I mean I don't min-" Colby was saying, before he got cut off by Nate. 
"Let's get McDonalds." 
What the fuck?
"Colbs is that fine with you?" I asked.
"Yeah its fine." I saw him force a smile. 
I made a sad face towards him, but he gave a reassuring smile.

Now I get why Colby felt left out whenever we were with Nate.
Can't believe I never noticed.

We arrived at McDonalds a few minutes later, and decided to go through the drive through.
"What do you guys wanna get?" I asked Colby and Nate.
"Can I get a burger and drink, any." Nate said.
"Alright, what about you Colbs?"
"Uh.. fries are fine." He said. 
"Are you sure, you'll feel hungry later." I said. 
"Yeah, fries are fine." (an- he doesnt have an ed!!! he's just not hungry. im clarifying incase any of you had that thought)
I still got a drink and a muffin for him.
"Its fine Sam, he's just trying to lose some weight!" Nate laughed.
I've had enough of this shit.
"What the fuck Nate?"
"Sam its oka-" Colby tried to say, but I wasn't gonna let this bitch talk shit about Colby right in front of me.
"No, its not."
"Damn.. sorry bro, I was just joking." Nate said.
Joking my ass. 
"We aren't going to the house." I said, turning the car around.
"Woah- Sam, its fine, we can't cancel a video cause of this-" Colby said. 
"Yeah, we can."

I dropped Nate back at his house. He's definitely not coming on any of our videos. Ever.
I don't plan on talking to him either.

Me and Colby were on the way back to our house.
"I'm sorry I never noticed Colbs. Nate genuinely sucks." I say.
"It's okay, I'm glad you stood up for me."
"Of course man, I wasn't gonna let him just shit talk you?!"
Colby laughed. 

I've missed his laugh.

"You should laugh more Colbs, it's so pretty." I said, my voice becoming a whisper as I got to the end.
"It's so what?"
"Nothing-"

Colby's POV

Yeah, I heard him clear as day.

I'm so grateful to have him.
