Colby's POV

Alright so, I'm alone in Bernard's room. We all went our own ways for the solo investigation.
I'll be honest, I'm kinda scared. 
"Alright Bernard, I'm in your room. Could you make any noise?" I say.
Nothing.
"Could you slam this door right here?" I say as I turn around. (an- trauma moment abt to happen)
I hold out my EMF reader, when suddenly, the door slams behind my back.
"Holy shit- Thank you Bernard!" I say frantically as I run out of room.
I've never been so scared in my life. I was turning pale.
I walked around for a while and tried to calm down.
It didn't work. I was freaking the hell out.
I, in the end, ran out of the house to find Sam and Seth.

I found Seth, thankfully. 
"Dude I- where's Sam?!" I say, breathless.
"Yo bro calm down! What happened?-"
"Bro I-  call Sam please!"
Seth nodded and ran to get Sam.

Sam's POV

I hear Seth screaming my name.
"Yo Sam! Come here!" 
"Woah, what happened?" I say as I run towards him.
"Bro- Colby's freaking out! He told me to call you."
What the hell?
We ran to him and he was.. genuinely freaked out. 
I didn't like seeing him like this.

"Colbs? What happened? Are you okay-"
"I'm fine its-"
"What happened bro?" Seth asked.
Colby explained what had happened, and it was honestly understandable why he was freaked out.
"Alright- do you wanna leave? We can leave-" I said, freaking out.
Colby looked genuinely scared, and I didn't know what to do.
His eyes were tearing up and he couldn't stop shaking.
"We don't have to but I wanna get out of here for a bit." Colby said.

We left the place and went into our car. I drove the car, and Colby said he wanted to sit in the back seat.
We drove to a nearby store to get some snacks and water, and Colby calmed down a bit.
Seth went to get the snacks while me and Colby stayed in the car.
"Colbs?" I said, turning my head to face him.
"Y-Yeah?" 
He was still shaking.
"Are you okay? Should I come to the back with you?"
"No it's fine-"
"Okay I'm coming."
Colby burst out laughing.
I was so glad to hear him laugh again, it was really relieving.

I came to the back of the car and sat with Colby.
"Do you wanna tell me what happened?" I asked.
"I was just... just asking him to shut the door and i-it happened when I had my back turned," he sighed, "so it just scared me."
"It's okay, you don't have to talk about it." I said as he put his head on my shoulder.  (an- PUT UR HEAD ON MY SHOULDER?!??!?!?? sorry.)

I continued talking about random things while I played with Colby's hair.
I got hums from him occasionally to indicate he was listening. 

"Thanks, love." Colby said randomly.
"Huh-" I said, "for what?"
"For being there for me," he smiled, "I probably would've been bawling my eyes out if it weren't for you." He said. 
"So like, do you plan on making me cry- or?" I said while pretending to cry.
He was too sweet.

Seth's POV

I got all the snacks and was on the way back to the car. 
I reached the car and saw Sam and Colby literally cuddling.
I leave them alone for 5 minutes and this happens?!

Fucking lovebirds.
