Then only two years later there was another transfer, Beth. Beth was pretty cool. I looked at him again and he said, "I have somewhere to take you". I smiled and took his hand. We walked for a while just in comfortable silence. I heard the sound of rushing water. I saw that we were going to the Chasm.
We sat down on a rock and I put my head on his shoulder. I kissed him and wished for this simplicity to stay. Of course it wouldn't.
