The excessively bright light of the waking sun shone through the morning sky, effectively waking up Chad. The very first thing the traveling Cheeto did when he awoke was to look at the map. He supposed that he was a quarter of the way to the next landmark. Sighing, he pulled himself up and went on with his journey.

Trekking through the seemingly endless field was a mindless task. That, alongside the unwelcome solitude, provided the perfect opportunity for Chad's mind to wander. It had been an eventful two days ever since he had first tripped over that one fragment of concrete. The Flamin' Hot Cheeto reminisced about everything that had happened ever since. First it was the unpleasant omen, then organizing a quest, then Mahogany's plummet and now this. He was too deep in his rumination to pay attention to his surroundings...

SMACK!

Chad was brutally knocked onto the ground. Pain throbbed throughout his cheesy physique. Needing to recuperate, he laid on the ground for a good minute before slowly getting back up. The Cheeto had crashed into a painting. It consisted of a mottled gray blob on a lighter gray, concrete canvas—a rather hideous design if you asked Chad. The piece of junk food took a few steps back and had a startling epiphany.

It's the Wall of Concrete! he realized with excitement.

Chad was examining the grayness of the massive wall when his attention came back to the painting. A chill rushed down his metaphorical spine at the sight. Cheddar had once told him that paintings in the middle of nowhere are
usually bad omens.

Wait a minute... This painting... Oh No! It means the leaves are near!
