Mahogany, why, why did you have to leave me? The obnoxiously bright red Cheeto
lamented to himself. He'd thought that he would be just fine traveling solo when he first walked away from Mahogany and the Drain ten minutes ago, but he was really just being naïve. Chad contemplated whether he should go back and jump down the Drain to be with Mahogany, but he shook the idea away.I've gone too far just to give up, the Cheeto reasoned with himself.
Chad shivered as a cold breeze struck at him, the frigid air threatening to suck the spiciness out of his body. He looked around for his girlfriend, only to remember that she had left him for the Drain. The reminder of their recent breakup did nothing to boost his spirits. He stopped to rest in the open field that he was currently crossing and looked up at the stars.
Stars?! A bamboozled Chad pointed out to himself. The lone Cheeto had been too busy moping over Mahogany to observe that the sky was steadily growing darker. Defeated, Chad sat down and stared blankly into the sky, thinking about what the next day would bring. He soon fell asleep, energizing himself for the problems he would have to face once again the next morning.
