"I'm willing to help you escape this looming bankruptcy. I am well aware that you may end up on the streets if your debts go unpaid. So, I can offer my assistance," I declared, toying with a pepper stone. My eyes were fixed on Roman, studying every twitch of his face, attempting to unravel the intricate workings of his greedy mind.

Initially, he appeared perplexed, possibly wondering why I was suddenly interested in his predicament. "But," I interrupted him before he could respond further, "I know what you might be thinking, Mr. Emir. Why am I suddenly interested in helping you?"

I leaned back in my chair, locking eyes with him. "Trust me, Mr. Roman, there's no reason for suspicion. I want you here to strike a deal with you, only if you're interested."

Roman inquired cautiously, "Yes, Mr. Knight, I'm interested?"

"I can help you, Mr. Emir, but in return, I want something from you," I revealed.

"What do you want?" he asked, his expression a mixture of confusion and curiosity.

I didn't hesitate to lay my cards on the table. "I want your daughter's hand in marriage with me!"

A visible transformation overcame Roman. His initial confusion gave way to sheer delight. "Wait... W... What?"

"Yes, Mr. Roman Emir," I stated plainly. "As you know, I'm the most eligible bachelor in this country, and I want you to marry me to your elder daughter, Heaven."

His expression went through a rollercoaster of emotions. He was delighted to know my intentions weren't directed toward Rose, his beloved daughter. "But why do you want to marry Heaven over Rose? Rose is a suitable match for you."

I clarified my stance, "Because I love her, Mr. Emir. I love Heaven."

I spoke the truth. My feelings for Heaven had ignited from the first moment I laid eyes on her, and now, I was deeply in love. I wanted her by my side, as my life partner.

Roman was stunned by my revelation. He had hoped I would be interested in Rose, not Heaven. "You don't have to worry about her from now on," I assured him. "She will be in my life, and rest assured, she won't be able to escape from me. I have to marry her."

Roman had no other viable option. He finally relented, "Hmm, okay, Mr. Jacob. I agree to marry Heaven to you. It will be a pleasure to entrust my daughter to your capable hands."

I sensed a hint of disappointment in his tone, but he knew he had no other recourse. "Very well, Mr. Roman. Now that you've agreed to my proposal, when can I come to your house to meet my future bride?"

A triumphant smirk crept across my face as I posed the question. Roman reluctantly conceded, "You can come tomorrow evening."

I probed, sensing hesitation in his voice, "You know, you can speak to me freely. After all, we have a deal now. You can ask any questions or express your doubts."

He seemed relieved by my offer but declined, "No, no, Mr. Jacob Knight. I'm very grateful for everything."

"Excellent," I responded, "I will take my leave then. See you tomorrow at my future bride's home."

As Roman departed, my mind churned with cruel intentions and dark emotions. I had secured what I desired, and nothing would stand in my way. My pursuit of Heaven was now set in motion, and there would be no turning back.

The night was a tapestry of dark thoughts and even darker plans. As I watched Roman leave, a cruel satisfaction danced within me. My scheme to claim Heaven as my own had taken a significant step forward.

That night, I couldn't sleep. My mind was a whirlwind of anticipation, plotting every detail of the upcoming meeting with Heaven. The very thought of her, her delicate presence, her captivating allure, consumed my every waking moment.
