Eging loved training with his teammates in the mountains. The cool, clean air of the high mountain peak was calming to his soul, and he often spent hours here, practicing various martial arts maneuvers or simply meditating.

Today was no different. Eging spent hours practicing for the next turf wars,the movements fast and fluid,shooting the targets with his clash blaster. He jumped up and down along the mountainside, the rocky crags and jagged outcroppings providing an excellent obstacle course. He flipped and leapt over the rock formations, landing gracefully in the gravel at the bottom.

As he took a break to catch his breath and drink some water(yeah)he thought about his crush, Emperor. He had known him since childhood, but in recent years, Eging had developed feelings for him that were more than platonic. He longed to express these feelings to the other boy, but was too nervous. He feared rejection, or that his feelings would ruin their friendship.

Despite his fears, he also knew that he had to tell Emperor how he felt. He knew that keeping his feelings bottled up inside was only hurting him, and he needed to take a chance.

Suddenly, the pale inkling sat next to him,eging looked at him,admiring his sharp yellow eyes,they were two warm sunshines for him,it made him feel,loved.

"Tired?"-Emperor said

"Nah,just needed some fresh air"-Eging replied

"Well,are you busy tonight? I don't have anything to do"

Eging was shocked by his question, did he really wanted to hang out with him? Or was he just bored? He didn't know what to think but besides that, he really wanted to spent time with him and get to know more about him.
"Sure"
Eging tried to be as calm as possible,but he couldn't stop blushing.The thought of hanging out with the person he loved felt amazing for Eging.

"Wanna go to the bakery near my house"
"I think a restaurant is a better option, they're pretty and so are you"

Emperor smiled

The darker inkling was blushing even harder, did he just flirted with Emperor?  And he liked it?

"I'll be waiting then, see you"

Eging was laying on his bed,wondering why time couldn't go faster,all he wanted was to be with Emperor.He felt happiness,comfort and more feelings he couldn't explain when he was around him. Eging groaned as he looked at his phone and saw the time. "8:00 p.m.," he muttered to himself. "I need to get ready." He had a meeting with Emperor,or date? He wasn't sure.Eging wanted to look his best. He jumped out of bed and quickly took a shower, washing his shiny yellow tentacles and scrubbing the sweat from his muscles. After drying himself off, he put on his nicest outfit.

He got his house keys and closed the door. He took  a taxi to the restaurant,where Emperor was waiting for him.

When he arrived,the first thing he did was complimenting the other guy

Emperor was wearing a white suit
While Eging was wearing a black shirt with gray pants

"You look dazzling"-Eging said,he was stunned by emperor's beauty
𝘚𝘮𝘪𝘭𝘦𝘴 "You do too,I really like your style"-The other said
"But it's not appropriate for this occasion!"-Eging replied,he was really embarrassed
"Dont worry about it,I genuinely like it"

This made Eging smile,but he was screaming on the inside,Emperor just complimented him

Both of them got inside, Emperor booked a table close to the window facing the street.The night looked great,it was serene and chilly.The sky was full of bright stars.

They chatted a little until the waiter gave them the menu.For the main course,Emperor ordered steak and rice while Eging ordered spaghetti.

"Emp,if you don't mind me asking,why did you invited me here?"-Our protagonist asked
𝘌𝘮𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘰𝘳 𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘬𝘦𝘥 𝘢𝘸𝘢𝘺 "Well,I was bored"

Eging could feel how his heart broke in pieces, Emperor was just using him but,he seemed to be,blushing?

"Well actually ,I enjoy spending time with you"
Emperor smiled as he hold Eging's hands

Eging didn't know why was he doing that,but he truly loved that feeling.His heart melted as he felt the warmth of Emperor's touch.He took a sip of his wine, trying not to let his emotions show, but it was difficult when his heart was bursting with joy.But the cherish moment didn't last long,the waiter came with their orders.

After eating,Emperor said something:

"I'll pay"
"Don't worry I will" The dark skinned boy said
"No,I will!" Emperor said,chuckling
Eging had an idea
"Well,let's play rock papers scissors, Loser has to pay!" Eging proposed,maybe they're still childish after all

Emperor laughed at the suggestion. "Alright, you're on!"

They played a few rounds, with Emperor winning the majority of the time. Eging was starting to get frustrated, but he didn't want to show it.

As they played, Eging started to notice some small details about Emperor that he hadn't before. The way his eyes sparkled when he laughed, the slight upturn of his lips when he was thinking, and the way his hand felt against his own.

"I won!" Emperor shouted
Eging chuckled "Let me get my credit card"

Everything got silent as he got his credit card out of his wallet
Until emperor broke the silence

"Eging"

"Yes?"

"Thanks for everything,it was a fun night"

"Thank you for inviting me"-Eging replied with a big smile

Eging payed and both of them got up of their seats heading to the exit.Emperor was waiting for his Uber  outside
"You sure you don't want me to go with you"-Eging asked
"No,I'll be fine"-The other guy replied

Emperor's Uber got sooner than expected,he said goodbye to his friend before getting inside the car.But before he could open the car door,Eging shouted:
"Emperor!"
"Huh?" He looked back at him
"I... I'll win the next time we play rock paper scissors"

Emperor smiled at him,he got inside the car and left
