A bright sunshine hit Emperor's face. He slowly opened his eyes to face a new day of his life. He looked through the window. The land was covered in grass and flowers. After looking at the environment surrounding him,he noticed his boyfriend was eating breakfast already.

He was surprised to see that Eging was already awake and eating breakfast. He could smell the delicious aroma of pancakes and eggs, and his stomach growled with hunger. The king stretched his body and got ready to enjoy the morning with his beloved boyfriend.

"Good morning, my love." Eging said with a smile, seeing that the Emperor was awake, "I hope you slept well."

Emperor smiled back, feeling grateful for having such a caring partner. "Good morning, Eging. I did sleep well, thank you. Those pancakes smell amazing; can I have some?"

Eging nodded and passed him a plate of pancakes. They ate in silence for a while, savoring the food and enjoying each other's company. It was a simple moment, but it was one of the happiest ones in their adventure.

"How did you made them though?" Emperor asked.

"Oh, they're just some old frozen pancakes I found in our freezer. I just put them in the sun for a while."

"YOU WHAT?!" Emperor choked and threw his food in disgust.

Eging laughed at his partner's reaction.

"Thanks; now I don't have anything to eat."Emperor said, obviously sarcastically, that he was clearly annoyed.

Eging laughed harder and made his boyfriend chuckle a bit. They remained silent for a while. Eging just admired him, annoyed or not,he was still beautiful.

"So, what do you want to do today?"The red-eyed inkling broke the silence, then took a bite of a strawberry Eging gave him.

"I don't know," Eging said, chewing on his pancake. "How about we explore the woods nearby? Maybe we'll find a hidden treasure."

"Treasure? I remember when we used to find those when we were kids; an old empty bottle was like a treasure for us."
The two boys chuckled.

Eging liked the idea, but it wasn't as interesting as he thought. Then he looked at the other guy with a twinkle in his eye and said, "How about we go on a picnic in the mountains? It'll be a perfect way to enjoy the scenery."

Emperor, intrigued by the idea, nodded. "A picnic, you say? That sounds delightful. Let's do it." The lovers got up and opened the trunk. They packed a basket with Eging's homemade sandwiches, fresh fruits, and a thermos of Emperor's favorite tea.
"There's this place I like, so..." The Emperor got cut off by Eging.
"Let me guess another mountain."
"JUST LET ME FINISH!" The monarch yelled, making the shaven guy laugh. "Alright, what is it?"
Emperor showed him a beautiful hill above a valley, but first, they had to climb a sharp, rocky mountain to get there,so they got hiking gear, and after that, they were ready to go.

As they hiked up the mountain trail, the air became crisper and the trees whispered the secrets of the wilderness, but Emperor was struggling with following the trail. He refused to ask for help; he wanted to show Eging he was strong enough, not like the disappointment he was for his parents.

But he couldn't resist for so long. The king tripped over a rock and fell, but fortunately, the rope they had held him. Eging heard rocks falling apart and quickly looked back to see if his lover was okay. He took his hand and got him up again.

"Babe, are you ok?" The dark boy asked
"Y-Yeah,I was just having a little bit of trouble Emperor stuttered.
"You should've told me, love."
He looked away.
The couple kept climbing. Eging couldn't stop thinking about the sad face the other boy had,but he knew he'd be fine because he was there for him.

The winding trail led Eging and Emperor to the crest of a hill, offering a breathtaking view of the valley below. Eager to make the most of their destination, Eging began setting up a cozy spot for a picnic. However, he noticed a subtle sadness lingering in Emperor's eyes.

Pausing in his preparations, Eging gently touched the Emperor's shoulder. "So, before we dive into the joy of this moment,is there something you'd like to share? ,I've noticed your sad expression when we were climbing."

Emperor hesitated, then sighed, "I've always felt the weight of expectations and the need to be strong, especially for you. I've struggled with feeling like a disappointment to my parents, to everyone, and to myself."

Eging, his eyes filled with compassion, he hugged the Emperor and said, "You don't have to carry that burden alone, my love. I chose you for the person you are, not the expectations others placed on you. You're more than enough, just as you are."

Emperor, touched by Eging's understanding, felt a wave of relief. "I wanted to be strong for you,but I know I'm not enough."

Eging tilted the Emperor's chin, locking eyes with him. "Emperor, you're the strongest man I know. You're not a disappointment; you're a person with dreams, fears, and vulnerabilities, just like anyone else."

Emperor's tears rolled down his cheeks as Eging continued, "I love you for who you are, imperfections and all. Let's do this together; I'll always be supporting you every step of the way."

The Emperor, moved by Eging's words, felt a weight lift from his shoulders. In that hilltop embrace, beneath the vast sky, they found strength in vulnerability, and the love between them deepened, creating a sanctuary in each other's hearts. "I've never had someone believe in me the way you do. It's overwhelming."

Eging drew the Emperor into a comforting embrace. "You don't have to carry the weight alone, my love. Let these tears be a release, a shedding of any doubts or fears. I'm here for you, embracing every part of you, even the vulnerable moments."

The Emperor, feeling the warmth of Eging's embrace, allowed the tears to flow. Eging softly whispered words of comfort, assuring the Emperor that their vulnerability only strengthened their connection. As the tears subsided,Emperor looked into Eging's eyes, gratitude shining through.

"Thank you," he said, his voice was cracking. "For seeing me, for understanding me, and for loving me despite my flaws."

Eging smiled and said, "You're worth every beautiful word, every tear, and every smile. Our journey is a shared one, and together, we'll navigate both the joys and challenges that come our way."

"Ok, we're getting corny," Emperor laughed through tears. Eging laughed too.

Eging and Emperor found solace in each other's arms, knowing that their love was a force that could weather any storm.

As the two began setting up the picnic, the atmosphere shifted. Eging skillfully arranged an array of delicious treats—exotic fruits, savory pastries, and fragrant teas—carefully selected to delight the senses—definitely the Emperor's favorite. The soft breeze carried the sweet scent of flowers, providing a soothing backdrop to their efforts. Emperor Eging's presence was a balm to the soul, and the act of setting up the picnic became a shared endeavor, a way to connect beyond the formalities of court life.

Amidst the laughter and shared stories, Eging skillfully poured tea into delicate porcelain cups. The warmth of the tea matched the camaraderie between them, creating a haven of tranquility in the midst of the regal surroundings. As they enjoyed the feast, the burden of rulership momentarily lifted, replaced by a sense of camaraderie and friendship.

Under the gentle rustle of cherry blossoms and laurels, Eging and Emperor found solace in each other's company. The simple act of setting up a picnic had become a profound gesture of support and love. Eging invited Emperor to take a bite of his homemade sandwich.

"Don't you dare to do the same thing you did to me in the morning."

"Never again, Babe," Eging laughed.

The monarch took a bite of the sandwich; it was delicious as always, not surprising, but he still decided to compliment his boyfriend.

"Shit, this is so good." The Emperor complimented, "Kings aren't supposed to curse, are they?" Eging teased.

"Shut up." He slightly punched his shoulder.

The soft breeze rustled the leaves and caressed their tentacles, and laughter echoed through the serene meadow as they savored the simple pleasures of a shared meal.

Their laughter intertwined with the melodies of nature, creating a symphony of happiness. As they exchanged playful banter and enjoyed each other's company, the warmth of their connection deepened.

Amidst the laughter,Emperor gazed at Eging with admiration, appreciating the way his eyes sparkled in the sunlight. Eging admired Emperor's strength and kindness; his laughter was a pure delight for his ears and heart. Their connection was not only physical but also a meeting of minds and souls.

With the soft glow of affection in their eyes, Emperor and Eging leaned in for a tender kiss. The world seemed to pause as their lips met, sealing their love beneath the branches of the ancient oak. The meadow, the tree, and the cherry blossom tree—the love shared between them became an everlasting tableau of joy and acceptance.

Then Emperor broke the kiss. "You're the best thing I could ever ask for"—he let his head rest on the shaven boy's shoulder.

Eging kisses his forehead. "I'm really grateful to have you," he said.

The lovers rested for a while, taking in the gentle caress of a cool breeze. The air carried the scent of distant flowers, mingling with the comforting warmth of their shared company. The rustle of leaves overhead created a soothing symphony, harmonizing with the rhythmic breaths of the two lovers. The breeze played with Emperor's tentacles, creating a dance of strands that mirrored the tranquility of the moment.

As they sat together, the world around them seemed to come alive with the soft touch of the wind. Eging's arms encircled Emperor, creating security. In the embrace of the breeze and Eging's steady presence, the Emperor found peace, each gust whispering tales of shared affection.

The evening sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm glow on the duo. Emperor, with closed eyes, absorbed the tranquility of the moment, grateful for the breeze that carried away the worries of the day and left only the essence of their connection.

"Babe,I think we should go back to the car; it's getting late." Eging whispered to the Emperor

"Just five more minutes," the Emperor said, still with his eyes closed and with a sleepy voice.

"Alright,just five," Eging chuckled.

Eging admired the sunset while the others slept. He actually didn't care about the time; he only cared about being with him,his beloved Emperor.
