"Y/n?"

"Is that you?"

~~~~~~~
Your eyes widen as you realize who it was. A feeling in the pit of your stomach rising that caused your body to tingle almost immediately and not the good way either. .
"Tori..."
It was your ex girlfriend, the one that only lasted a few months. And for good reason.
Enid could tell something was up because of the way your body stiffened as the girl behind the counter kept a straight face. "Y/n," she whispers and it brings you out of your head.
"I'm sorry Enid, but we need to go..."
She could read the room which meant she needed to be in protective best friend mode.
"What's going on?" Enid asked.
"Can I get you two anything?" the girl said, a clear attitude in her town.
Enid shot the girl a glare before grabbing your arm and leading you away from the register. You went along with her without much of a fuss and said nothing on your way out. Once Enid got you outside, you kept walking.
"Y/n!" Enid called out to you but you didn't stop. You didn't want to stop. So Enid followed, leaving behind a coffee shop you had never intended on walking into ever again.
The girl behind the desk; Tori, watched you two go until you were out of sight before turning back to the customers that were now waiting for their order to be taken.
~~
Once Enid caught up to you, she fell into step.
"Are you going to tell me what happened back there?"
"I knew she hated me..." you mumbled. "...I just didn't know it was that bad..." You felt like vomiting.
When you met her gaze, you were struck with a feeling so vile and so disgusted, you felt like you couldn't breathe. The day you felt the feelings Xavier truly felt for you, right before he punched you, this was like that. But worse.
There was an intent to kill, her hatred for you was that strong. You knew she's always hated you but now that you can feel and see every emotion, it was still getting used to the stronger feelings. And these repulsed you to the point that you wanted to make it stop. It caused you to feel so dirty, your skin would crawl just thinking about it.
"Y/n!"
Before you could think the rest of your thoughts, an arm wrapped around your waist and pulled you back just as a car came flying down the road.
You look up and see Enid there, staring at you with a worried expression. This expression was followed by her strong emotion of fear and protectiveness. It made the other feelings be washed away but then that infamous migraine reared it's ugly head. You press a hand to your face as you groan.
"What is going on with you, babe?"
"I can't explain anything right now, this migraine is splitting my skull in half and I feel like I'm going to hurl." you say with a whine before standing on your own when Enid lets go of you.
"That's okay, just take your time." Enid grabbed the bags you held and placed them on her arms before standing at your side for support. "Come on, let's find a bus stop and head back to your mom."
You were grateful to Enid. And happy she didn't push because the last time you felt such a toxic emotion, you weren't in the mood for any type of talk. You were starting to put two and two together; Hatred emotions towards you caused your body great distress.
