The plane ride--
Looking out the window and seeing me slowly move out of Montana was a little scary, considering I have never ridden a plane by myself before.
I got the whole row to myself which was pretty nice if you ask me. I'm not the, how you say "outgoing" type. I mean, I like people, but I'm just shy.
I pulled the seat tray down so I could set my laptop on top. Before I turned on my laptop, I looked at my reflection in the screen. My pale face, my long layered brown hair, my soft blue eyes. no makeup. I don't feel the need to wear it. honestly, I like me, for just the way I am. that probably explains why I didn't have any friends back home. the only friend I have lives in Topsail NC. which is we're I'm heading now.
I'm spending my summer with my only friend and she lives 6 hours away - by plane. her name is Laura and this summer she is going to help me make a change.
Laura and I met when my family and I went to NC for vacation. we have been best friends ever since. which was about 4 years ago. we text we face time we snapchat and kik.
I slowly drifted to sleep, causing my train of thought to diminish.
Maria
Maria
Maria!
I looked up and saw a boy. he looked about my age. he had dark brown hair, and piercing green eyes. he was wearing a gray muscle tee. he smiled at me. it was a million dollar smile that I would never forget.
"who are you?" I asked. My voice hoarse.
"don't you remember me?" He asked with concern in his eyes.
"I'm sorry, I don't know who you are." I said farrowing my eyebrows.
"it's ok, you were under for quite a while. you might have amnesia." he said with an ever so slight smile.
I sat up. but I was quickly stopped by a harsh pain In my chest. I couched into my elbow and saw blood. I looked up and saw that I was alone on the beach. he was gone--
"We have safely landed! have fun in Topsail! and thank you for choosing South west!" the flight attendant boomed on the speaker phone. I jolted awake. I quickly got all of my stuff and left the plane.
all I could think about was that boy.
