I'm sorry and Lesson 3--

"Laura I-"

"Beck stop. you cheated 😥on me with Emma. just stop." Laura cried.

"Why didn't you tell me?" I asked.

"Because I didn't want you to know. and I didn't want Beck to hurt you." Laura cried even harder.

I ran up to her and gave her a hug.

"It's okay. your a good friend." I tried to calm her.

"No I'm not! I kept a secret from you! as friends we are supposed tell each other everything!" Laura sobbed.

"Shhh. shh. it's okay." I whispered.

"I'm s-so s-sorry!" she cried into my shoulder.

"It's okay. I for give you." I say patting her on the back.

"And Laura-" Beck started.

"I don't wanna hear anything from you!" she pointed at Beck and hissed.

"Laura, let him speak." I said. trying to calm her.

"Fine." she grumbled.

"Laura, I didn't cheat on you." Beck said. he cleared his throat.

"Emma tried to seduce me. she sat on my lap at that party. I tried to push her off but she wouldn't move. then she tried to make out with me. Laura. its not my fault. we don't have to get back together, but can we be friends." Beck said kindly.

"Damn you have some balls." i whispered.
Beck gave me a strange look and I smiled. he began to smile back.

"Beck. I didn't know the real story. I just saw you making out with her at the party. I'm sorry for misunderstanding. and yeah we can be friends." Laura answered.

"Group hug?" Beck said quirking an eyebrow. he held his muscular arms out.

"Yeah!' Laura said as we all hugged.

"Okay now that that's over, how bout we all go to 2 Scoops?" Laura suggested.

"Hell yeah! let's go!" beck shouted.

I nodded and laughed.

After we got our ice cream, beck went home and so did we.

Right now Laura and I are sitting on the bottom bunk bed, giving me lesson 3.

"Lesson 3- personality. you need to be outgoing! Stop being so shy! DONT stutter. it makes people think you are insecure. you need to be more confident. you are beautiful inside and out an you need to embrace that. take some advise from my buddy Shawn Mendes! We don't have the time to be sorry! Baby be the life of the party! I'm tellin you to take your shot it might be scary! HEARTS ARE GONNA BREAK!" Laura lectured. I took that to heart. she's right. I do need to be more confident. I guess I'll give it a try.

"Yeah okay. I'll give it a shot." I said.

"Yay okay! so together our lessons are LMP. Looks, Moves, and Personality. You need to have good LMP. okay?"

I nodded. I understand what she means but I don't think i can pull it off.

"Okay! we are done with the lessons! we can practice throughout the summer so you are ready for Duke University!"

I smiled.

The next day was lazy. Laura told me when she went out yesterday she got my birthday present. my birthday is in two days and I'm super exited.

We're sitting on the couch.

"So what do you wanna do on your birthday?" Laura asked me.

"I'd like to maybe go boogie boarding. possibly go to Starbucks for breakfast." I suggested.

Then an idea piped into mind.

"SURF BERRY!" I shouted. Surf Berry is a frozen yogurt place that also does surfing and paddle boarding lessons and camps. you could also get some pretty sweet t shirts there.

"OMG yass!" Laura shouted.

All in all, today an yesterday were both pretty good days. except for the dramatic scene at the pier. but now that it's all cleared up I won't have to worry about hanging around with Beck.
