Lesson 2--
"I'm gonna teach you at the pier!" Laura shouted from downstairs.
"UGH FINE." I shouted from the upstairs bathroom. Laura had done my makeup for practice (pic at top or at side). and I feel like I can't touch my face.
I looked in the mirror and I actually looked beautiful. not decent. beautiful.
I changed into my black high waisted shorts and a light gray tank top that has the teal ocean water on it.
I walked down the steps.
"Okay, are you ready?" Laura asked. she had on some denim shorts and a t shirt that said "Topsail Beach"
"Uh yeah." I said grabbing a blueberry muffin off the table.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We walked to the pier in silence.
"So what's lesson 2?" I asked hoping it's not as bad as lesson 1.
"Moves!" Laura said excitedly.
"Um, no." I said. oh dear lord this is going to be a long day.
"I'm just gonna teach you how to walk with confidents and how to bite your lip. you need to learn how to do those things." she explained. I sighed and rolled my eyes.
"Okay, walk about 4 feet." she instructed. I did do as he stood in please and watched.
"Your too slumped over. people will think your insecure and uncomfortable." she commented. I nodded.
"Shoulders up to your ears. Back and down. now stand up straight." she said as I did so.
"Now walk in a straight line."she once again instructed. as I walked I felt confident.
"How do I look?" I asked going for a nice answer.
"Amazing! oh my god!" she squealed as she ran up to give me a hug.
"Ok can you do this?" she asked as she bit her lip. I tried to.
"No, don't pull your whole bottom lip in your mouth just barley on your right side of your lip." she said.
I did so and she started jumping up and down with excitement.
"Ok let's test it. were going to the board walk!" she shouted excitedly.
"Ugh fine." I kept my posture good as I walked in a straight line. I have to admit I do feel more confident.
"Okay, your doing really good so far, just don't trip over your own two feet." she said laughing as we walked back down the pier.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Once we got to the board walk, Laura corrected my posture a little more. we walked around. I felt a pair of eyes land on me. praying to god that it was just my imagination.
"Laura, I think someone's looking at me." I whispered as we walked through the crowd.
"Well of corse someone's looking at you! you look hot! not in a lesbian way but you look hot." she explained. she looked around and she stopped walking.
"Okay! let's go home now!" she said worriedly.
"Why laur? we just got here?" I asked.
"Maria. trust me, we need to leave!" she said grabbing my arm and pulling me to the exit.
"Okay, fine I don't know what's gotten into you. are you okay?" I asked.
"Beck is here. you can't talk to him. he's bad news." she said still pulling me.
"Laura, last night when you went to Food Lion, Beck took me to get some ice cream from 2 Scoops. he's not such a bad gu-"
"WAIT YOU DID WHAT?!" she interrupted causing me to shake.
"Beck is not such a bad guy, I don't know why your making a big deal over this!" I shouted as we walked.
"I've known him my whole life, he's not a good guy." she explained.
"Laura. is there something your bot telling me?" I asked.
"No I told you everything." I'm not buying it.
"Whatever. lets just go home" I said.
we walked home in silence. I hope this didn't damage our relationship as friends.
