I was walking around in the darkness of the streets. I didn't know where I was and I was afraid. My stomach growled and I rubbed my tired eyes trying to stay awake. My parents were gone, they ditched me on an old country road near a city. I didn't understand why they would do that to me when I always did what I was told and was the perfect obedient child.

"Are you lost little one?" Someone asked from behind me. I turned and backed away from them. He had brown hair and green eyes. He smiled at me and knelt down so he was more at my size.

"I- I... My mommy and daddy left me. They told me I was too much for them and left me on the side of the road and drove away." I said taking a few more steps back.

"I'm not going to hurt you. Listen, how about you and I go to my place so we can get out of this rain. We could also get you something to eat." The man said.

I nodded. "Yes please." He came towards me and I let him. He offered me his hand and I took it. I tripped a couple of times before he smiled and picked me up. I leaned my head on his shoulder and soon fell asleep.

•*•*•*•*•*•*•*•*•

I woke up to the sound of someone yelling. I opened my eyes and crawled out of the big kingsized bed. I headed down the stairs silently and peeked around the corner and looked into the kitchen. There was the man who helped me yesterday getting yelled at my another man with dark brown hair and honey brown eyes.

"You can't just bring a little girl home like that, damn tomato bastard. What if her parents sue you for kidnapping? What will happen then? What if you go to jail?" The new guy yelled.

"Lovi, I'm not going to go to jail. Her parents left her on the side of the road? Do you really think I wouldn't help her?" The man from yesterday countered and I smiled.

"You still can't do that, bastard. You need to take her to an orphanage where she can be adopted by humans. We're countries, what's going to happen when she gets older and you don't. What's going to happen then?" Lovi yelled at the guy who helped me.

The guy who helped me was going to say something when I sneezed. They both looked over at me, shocked. I smiled and said a quick sorry in a quiet voice before looking down at the ground. My stomach growled and the first guy laughed.

"Hey you want a tomato?" He asked and came towards me. I nodded and said 'yes please.' and he lifted me onto the counter. He handed me a tomato and I bit into it letting the flavour fill my mouth.

"Do you even know her name?" Lovi asked the other guy.

"My names Sophie, Lovi." I smirked and took another bite of the fruit in my hands.

"Well, Sophie, I'm Antonio. But some people call me Toni." The guy who helped me said. "And his full name is Lovino, but I call him Lovi."

"How the fuck do you know my name?" Lovino yelled at me. I knew he didn't mean to yell but that's just the way he talks. Same with why he cussed.

"I heard Toni, saying it." I said and finished the tomato. Toni offered me another one and I took it. But instead of eating it I hopped off the counter and walked over to Lovino.

"Here," I said as I held the tomato up to him. "I'm sorry if I'm in the way. I understand if you guys give me away. Nobody wants me anyway, not even my parents want me." I honestly wasn't going for a guilt trip but that's what it turned out to be.

"N- No, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have said those things." Lovino said and got down on his knees so he was more at my height. "Listen, I'm not the best when it comes to people but I will try."

I smiled up at him. "Well your already doing better then my parents have."

- The man who brought her home is Spain.

- And obviously Lovino is Romano.

Okay and that is all. I hoped you all liked the first chapter. Thanks for reading.
