🇪🇸 Chances 12 🇮🇹

The next world meeting came quickly. I was a bit excited but a bit nervous too. Conversation was probably going to be about me again. I wasn't really looking towards that.

"It'll be okay, Rayna." Toni says with his usual smile painted on his face. One thing that I noticed was he was started to smile for real a lot more. His smiles were reaching his eyes and I think that's because Lovi's not as harsh as he used to be. Sure he still curses and everything but he doesn't do it towards Toni much.

"Okay." I agreed and he lifted me up. Then I was handed off to Lovi and Toni went to get our suitcases. This world meeting was going to be Rome today. I don't know if it was accidental or purposely. I just sort of hoped none of the dissolved countries would show up and try talking to me.

Once our suitcases were put in the back of the car, we were off. On our way to my home - where the glowing lake was. Or what's said to be my home. My real home was always going to be with Toni and Lovi.

"Rayna. Hmm, that seems to fit better." Arthur was saying. He seemed to get a weird look in his emerald eyes, like he was remembering something. But what ever it was he didn't seem to want to share.

Once everyone went around and said my real name. But once we got to Russia, for some reason he refused to say it. I narrowed my eyes. Was he the one to take away my memories then? And if so, why?

"Mr Russia, why won't you call Rayna by her real name?" Lithuania asked.

"I don't think it suits her, da?" He said. I couldn't help but glare at him. Something was up and I knew it.

But I decided to say nothing. I sighed and felt as Toni placed his hand on my head. Then I put my elbow on the table and put my cheek on my hand. Sure my memories at the moment weren't bad but it would be nice to have my old ones back.

"What's this lake called?" I asked Ancient Greece as she lead to the lake we had swam in. The one that had the rocks that seemed to glow at the bottom.

"This is Memory Lake." She told me as we stood on the edge. She was solid unlike how I saw her now.

"Why's it called that?" I asked.

"It's called that because it's where all the memories of the dissolved countries go. Very soon my memories will end up in this lake as well. Just like Roman Empires."

"Daddy's memories are in here?" I asked and she nodded.

"Yes, and you see Rayna, these waters are too deep for any country or human to swim to the bottom. Except for you. Since you have a special tie to dissolved counties and this lake is in your capital it gives you the energy to swim to the bottom."

"Mommy, what makes the stones glow?"

"The memories. Each rock is a memory that only you can see."

"But what happens if I want to show other people the memories?"

"Then you can as long as you hold that curtain stone. But I shall warn you that only those that have had the pleasure of meeting that curtain country will be able to see the memory. Like if you were to show me one of the memories from Roman Empire I would be able to see it unlike if you were to show me one of Holy Rome's." Ancient Greece told me.

"Okay mommy. But what about the stones that glow brighter then the rest?" I asked and held my hand over the waters surface. In moments there were about a hundred stones trying to fit in my left hand. But as I made a fist I could only grab five and I watched as the rest slowly floated down to the bottom. They all scattered as if they had a curtain place to lay.

"Those are the favourite memories of some of the countries. Like this one, it's the favourite one of your dad's." She said as she watched the scene play out in my hand.

I watched as the scene played out as well. It was the day Roman Empire and Ancient Greece had found me - Feli had been there as well. And since I had both Ancient Greece and Roman Empire in me they decided they would both raise me. But instead of acting as if they were my big brother and sister they had acted as if they were my parents, and Italy my older brother. It was odd for countries to do that but for some reason they had been different.

"And for any memory that does not shine as bright as these ones anyone can watch. It's only the favourite memories that are different."

"What's your favourite memory mommy?" I asked.

She smiled. "You will know one day. But for now all I need to worry about is making this last memory. This will be important one day and I will not be here to tell you about it." She said and my eyes shot to where she was standing.

"Mommy, you can't go." I said and dropped the stones I was holding back into the lake. I ran towards my dissolving mother figure. Tears were running down my face now as I gripped her hand.

"Rayna, honey, their are two people waiting for you to come out of the caves. They don't know about this place yet so the only way they can find you is for you to go to them." She said with a sad smile.

"But I don't want you to go, mommy. Do you really need to leave?" I asked and she nodded.

"I will see you again, darling. You will just have to wait." She said and placed something in my hand. And then she was gone. She was dissolved at last. I looked at what she put in my hand and saw the glowing stone. It glowed brighter then the rest, even the other favourite memories. Probably because not only was this her favourite memory and her last but it was also my memory.

Looking at the rock I brought it to my lips. I kissed it as tears slid down my face. "I love you mommy." I said and with that I threw the glowing stone into the water.

Tears were sliding down my face and I pulled out the rock that I had kept with me. It was indeed the memory that I had just watched. Knowing this I couldn't help as more tears slid down my face. Everyone in the world meeting was silent as they watched me.

"I miss you mommy." I muttered. I couldn't help it. I really did miss her and I missed my daddy as well. "I wish this didn't have to happen. I wish you two were still here."

I cried harder and I felt as someone started to rub my back. I looked at Toni and instantly clung to him. He and Lovi were my family now. And I felt as if they had been the people that had been waiting for me. Even if they didn't, and I didn't know it. It was just the feeling I had that I knew couldn't be wrong.
