# 17 - seventeenimagine
You were relaxing at home, going through your fan arts, scrolling TikTok and just chilling. Just then, you suddenly heard your bell rang.
You: Huh? I didn't order anything.
You approached your door carefully, slowly opening and you see a familiar silhouette, it was Joshua.
Joshua: Surprise!
You: Jagiya!
Joshua was wearing a black and white suit, his hair was styled. He was holding a bouquet of carnation in his hands. He was smiling brightly at you.

You: What's with the carnation?
Joshua: You don't know?
You: Why?
Joshua: You really don't know?
You: Why, what are you hiding?
Joshua pauses for a moment, his smile drops as he says,
Joshua: Today is our 500th day Anniversary!
You: What, oh um, sorry I forgot.
Joshua starts to get sulky and turns around.
Joshua: You don't even remember our anniversary date right...
You: Of course I do, May 15th of 2022!
Joshua: Wow! You do!
You: Of course, you know me.
Joshua: Not bad y/n, not bad!
You: Haha, it's nothing.
Joshua: It's actually the 13th of May, you have forgotten, our love is gone.
He turns away again and starts walking. You chase after him and give him a back hug. You start trying to make him happier while speaking in baby voice.
You: I'm sorry, forgive me, hm. Jagiya, you know I'm bad with dates... Forgive me hm?
You look at Joshua while you pout. He turns his face around while smiling and blushing secretly.
Joshua: I guess I'll let you off this time since it's a special day, there will be no next time.
You: Okay, I promise I won't forget next time!
Joshua takes out the carnation in his hands and says,
Joshua: Carnation means young and passionate love. I heard it's best for anniversaries, that's why I bought it for you. Hope you like it.
You: I love it, it even smells nice.
Joshua: Is it? I simply picked one.
** Flashback **
Joshua at the flower store picking a flower for you:
Joshua: Excuse me, this carnation, did it bloom recently or has it been some time?
Joshua: Excuse me. Can I get this in a different color, my girlfriend prefers pastel red?
Joshua: Um, sorry but the petals feel a bit too soft, is it dying soon?
Joshua: This flower does not smell that nice, can I get another one?
Joshua: My girlfriend is very pretty, I need a flower as pretty as her...
Worker: ... ...
** End of Flashback **
Joshua: You like the flower?
You: Of course, it's so pretty.
Joshua: I'm glad...
You both go in your house and Joshua took off his bag and took out a wine.
Joshua: I'll prepare some food for dinner.
You: No, no, I'll do it. you already bought me flowers.
Joshua: No, how is that fair?
You: Why should we calculate when we're in a relationship?
Joshua: How about... we cook together?
You: Together?
Joshua: Yea!
You take out a few ingredients to cook a simple Korean dinner. Rice, egg, vegetables and some chicken.
Joshua starts cutting up the vegetables while you set up the rice cooker.
Joshua: I like this.
You: What?
Joshua: This team, this duo.
You: Heh, me too.
After 1 and a half hours you guys finally finished cooking everything, Joshua lit up some candles and set them up on the table.
You: What's with this vibe?
Joshua: Candlelight dinner!
You: Wow.
You guys start eating, when you suddenly realize, Joshua was wearing a nice suit while you were just wearing home clothes.
You: Ah my clothes, I should change into something better.
When you were about to get up, Joshua grabbed your hand.
Joshua: You're pretty enough, sit down and enjoy your meal.
You: But, still... You are dressed up so nicely...
Joshua: So what? It's the people we are with not the clothes. Don't worry about it too much.
You: All right...
Joshua notices you are still bothered by it. He starts undressing. He takes off his jacket and starts unbuttoning, which made you startled.
You: What's wrong...
It turns out he had a T-shirt underneath. He takes off the white shirt leaving the T-shirt.
Joshua: Now we're both in home attire. Comfortable right?
He looks at you with a smile and continues eating. You couldn't believe what he just did.
You: Why did you take it off? I thought you told me not to mind.
Joshua puts down his utensils and looks at you.
Joshua: I didn't want you to mind but you looked like you couldn't focus on our dinner unless we wore the same type, but I didn't want you to go through so much trouble just to dress nicely, so I changed.
You: Oh, I see... You didn't have to...
Joshua: It's okay, jagiya. Enjoy your food.
You: Okay!
Joshua: By the way, the chicken you cooked is so delicious.
