First Love - Jealousy

Both of you were chilling in your house, few weeks before marriage.

You were watching a drama on the TV.

Male: So the person you loved wasn't me at all?

Female: No honey, I just meant my heart wasn't yours at first, it was just a fling.

Male: Then explain why you still hang out with that guy!

Female: I mean we wanted to remain as friends. There's nothing going on between us...

Male: I don't care about that. You two should be keeping distance!

Female: What but...

You both continued watching until the episode ended. Eating a bunch of snacks while watching. Joshua started to clean up by throwing the rubbish and cleaning the cups.

While he was washing the dishes, you walked up and gave him a back hug.

Joshua: Did you enjoy the episode?

You: No.

Joshua: Why?

You: I think the guy is rather narrow-minded.

Joshua: Why would you think that?

You: I mean, guys and girls can still remain friends after breaking up in my opinion.

Joshua: I see...

He remains quiet as he finishes washing the dishes. He then walks to the couch with you still back hugging him, waddling as you both sit down on the couch.

You: Do you have different opinions?

Joshua: Jagiya.

You: Yes?

Joshua: For me, if my girlfriend had another man she used to love, I refuse to let her continue meeting him after breaking up. It's hard.

You: I see...

You remain quiet and start avoiding eye contact with Joshua.

Joshua: Jagiya, do you still hangout with an ex of yours?

You look at him and notice his eyes, it looked like bambi eyes. You just couldn't lie to it.

You: Actually, rather than an ex, I just had a slight crush.

Joshua: Slight crush is still a crush...

You: But now I have no feelings at all for that guy.

Joshua: Who is it? Do I know him?

You: Uh...

Joshua: Hm?

You: Just a reminder, I was immature back than, it was my first time liking someone.

Joshua: So it was your first love?

You: No no! Uh. Just don't think too much of it.

Joshua: Sure sure.

You: So, I used to have a crush on... Jeonghan.

After hearing a name so familiar to him, Joshua froze for a while. He didn't say anything.

Joshua: I need to go, it's late. You should sleep too.

You: What, now?

Joshua starts packing his bag and wore his jacket.

Joshua: Goodnight, bye.

He says as he slams the door on you.

You: He's so sulky...

When Joshua arrived at home, he laid on his bed. He couldn't sleep at all.

He was thinking of all the moments you and Jeonghan had.

Even during the trainee days, he recalls the two of you hanging out often. He gets more and more jealous thinking of it, almost couldn't sleep all night.

Meanwhile, you were thinking about something else all night.

When Joshua left, he didn't say I love you and just left. It made you kind of upset. Every other day when he dropped you off, he would always say two things: Good night and I love you.

You were also thinking about how upset he is. You didn't know he would be like this. All night, you regretted about how you shouldn't have told him.

The next day, Joshua picked you up as always. Instead, he didn't say a word. He just stayed quiet the whole ride, you did so too. It was awkward.

When you guys arrived, you went separate ways. Joshua to Seventeen's practice room, you to your own practice room.

During lunch, he didn't come after you waited a while. Therefore, you went to Seventeen's practice room to look for Joshua.

When you arrived, you noticed Joshua was sitting on the couch with his arms and legs crossed while pouting.

Scoups walks up to you and asks you,

Scoups: What's wrong with him, he has been out of his mind today. He even got the dance wrong multiple times.

You: I'll handle it.

Scoups: Please do, he even got scolded for it.

Just then, you glanced at Joshua and noticed he was peeking at you. Jeonghan noticed you were here and walked up to you.

Jeonghan: y/n! What brings you here?

You: Oh I...

Joshua gets up and immediately ran towards you guys, he stood in front of you, blocking you from Jeonghan and Scoups' view.

Jeonghan: What's wrong with you?

Joshua: Why are you talking to my woman?

Scoups: Why are you suddenly acting up, we were just talking.

Joshua: I... I mean... keep your distance!

Jeonghan: Hey, what's wrong with you?

You: Don't mind him! Jagiya, let's talk in the cafeteria.

You took his arm and pulled him to the cafeteria. There was no one that as everyone eats lunch outside.

You both stood facing each other. No one spoke a word, it was awkward. Until you broke the silence,

You: Why are you so sensitive about Jeonghan being my previous crush? I told you I don't like him at all now.

Joshua: I'm sorry.

You: Huh?

Joshua: I'm just a little jealous about the fact I wasn't your first love, I mean you were mine.

You: Even though I used to like Jeonghan, you're the one I love the most now.

Joshua starts to have puppy eyes as he was touched. He walks closer to you and hugs you. He rests his head on your shoulder while you pat his back.

Joshua: The more I love you, the more I want you to only be mine. Sorry I was so possessive earlier.

You: It's okay. Promise you will not be that possessive in the future.

Joshua: Yes ma'am.

You: And that you will focus on practice and not let personal life bother you.

Joshua: Yes ma'am.

You: And that you will not pester Jeonghan in the future.

Joshua: That's a bit...

You: So you don't promise?

Joshua: I do! Yes ma'am.

He proceeds to give you a kiss.

Joshua: Shall we go eat now?

You: Yes, I'm hungry...

Joshua: Sorry for that jagiya. Let's go eat anything you want.

You: Okay, let's go!
