Propose Pt.1

I'm not putting Joshua with this cute plushie for fun :D

One day, Joshua was in his house watching YouTube videos while holding a plushie that you gave him as a gift.

Joshua: Haha, Boo Seungkwan this guy...

Suddenly, he felt a sense of loneliness. 

Joshua: Man, I miss her so much.

He picks up his phone to call you.

You: Hello?

Joshua: Jagiya!

You: Why are you calling?

Joshua: I miss you so much. What are you doing?

You: Oh, I'm at home of course.

Joshua: I see. Should I come over?

You: Isn't my house quite far from yours?

Joshua: Yea but I just miss you so much.

You: I would love for you to come over, but I have a schedule soon. By the time you arrive I'm not even at the house.

Joshua: I see...

You: Sorry jagiya...

Joshua: It's nothing to be sorry of. What are your plans for dinner?

You: I'm meeting with my middle school friends. For a reunion.

Joshua: I see...

You: Are you upset? Should I stop by your house after I finish my schedules?

Joshua: No no don't bother. You should rest at home, don't want you to be tired.

You: If you want to visit, I can.

Joshua: No no. You don't have to.

You: Okay then... Well, I have to go right now.

Joshua: Okay, bye jagiya.

You: Bye bye!

After the call, you decide to just stare blankly and not do anything. You decided to call up some buddies for a drink.

At the restaurant,

Mingyu: Ah, hyung! The answer is easy.

Joshua: What?

Mingyu: The answer to your loneliness.

Joshua: What is it?

Mingyu: First, let me get this straight. Normally, you are okay with her going out right?

Joshua: Yes, just these days I miss her every second, I want to be with her.

Mingyu: Were you always like this?

Joshua: Yea I guess. I've always wanted to spend time with her as much as possible but I used to be able to handle it.

Mingyu: I see. Are you sure she's the one?

Joshua: What are you asking! Mind what you say!

Mingyu: Just answer, are you sure she's the one you want to spend the rest of your life with her?

Joshua: Yes, I'm very sure. No matter what, the only person I'll ever love like this is her. I'll never leave her.

Mingyu: Swear on it.

Joshua: How?

Mingyu: Propose.

When Joshua heard the word propose, he thought he heard the wrong thing for a second. Although he would very much like to propose, he was scared that he wasn't ready.

Joshua: But...

Mingyu: I thought you were sure she's the one!

Joshua: I am! It's just, I'm scared of rejection.

Mingyu: You guys have already been together for one year or two. I'm pretty sure she'll accept.

Joshua: I mean, we never spoken of the topic of marriage, will it be too sudden for her?

Mingyu: Proposal are meant to be a surprise from the man to the woman. Go for it.

Joshua: I'm still scared.

Mingyu: Hey! That just proves you love her a whole lot. The more reason to propose.

Suddenly, Joshua gets up from is seat and shouts,

Joshua: You know what. You're right!

Mingyu: Yes! Finally!

Joshua: Now that I think about it, the only inconvenience we have is that we don't live together!

Mingyu: That's right!

Joshua: The only dream of mine is to be with her forever and ever, be happy forever and to become her family. Man, I love her so much! Even when I'm drinking with a friend, all I can think of is her!

Mingyu: That's disgusting. Take this somewhere else.

Joshua: I'll propose. I'll plan the best proposal for her, one that she will never forget!

And bam! He falls to the ground. Drunk.

Mingyu: Why just why... Now I have this mess to take care of...

Joshua: Jagiya~ jagiya~

Mingyu: And he still only thinks of her. Girls over friendship I see.

Mingyu was annoyed but he still carried Joshua to his car and brought him home.

Even though the decision was made when he was drunk, Joshua never forgot when he was awake. The decision was engraved in the heart.
