Early in the morning, Joshua got up to the sound of his alarm. He gets ready and saw his calendar. He noticed there was only one week left until you guys got married.

These days, you guys had not only been busy for work but also for wedding preparations.

Therefore, he decided to use this Saturday to ask you out on a date to relax.

You got up kind of late today. You were hungry so you decided to eat first before changing. You wore your pajamas and went to the kitchen and made yourself a sandwich.

While eating, you suddenly heard your doorbell ring.

Joshua: Jagiya, it's me.

You were about to let him in but you realized you were still in pajamas.

You: Uhm, I haven't changed! Wait outside for a while!

Joshua: Heh. Jagiya, I won't find you ugly in pajamas. I think it's cute.

You: I'm gonna go change!

Joshua was speechless. He waited outside the door of y/n's house for 15 minutes...

Finally, you opened the door.

You: Morning jagiya! What brings you here?

Joshua: Jagiya, you don't have to be worried about me seeing you in pajamas.

You: I know... It's just embarrassing.

Joshua: Heh, you're cute.

You smile as a response.

Joshua: I came to ask you on a date!

You: Date?

Joshua: Our wedding day is almost here and our days as an unmarried couple is counting down. I just want to go for a chill date. Plus, relax our minds from all the wedding preparations.

You: Aww jagiya. I would love to go on a date. Thanks for being so thoughtful.

Joshua: Come, let's go.

You both arrived at Hangang. A famous dating spot in Korea that you both have been to before.

You: Hangang? I didn't prepare for a picnic though.

Joshua: Don't worry.

Joshua opens the trunk of his car and shows a picnic basket and a mat.

Joshua: I made some simple stuff this morning, hope you don't mind.

You: Jagiya, you didn't have to. You should've told me to prepare something to.

Joshua: I wanted to do something special.

He takes out the basket with one hand and the mat with another.

You both set up the picnic mat and open up the picnic basket. Inside, there was sausages, pasta and salad. There was also some rice balls and gimbap.

You: Wow! You prepared a lot.

Joshua: Heh... This is not much.

You: It is!

Joshua: Try if it is delicious.

You take some pasta and ate it. It was absolutely delicious. You cover your mouth with your hands in awe and give Joshua a big thumbs up.

Joshua smiles seeing that you like it. You guys proceeded to eat.

You picked up a slice of gimbap and fed it to Joshua.

Joshua smiles and blushes while he eats the gimbap you gave him.

After eating and cleaning up, you both sit on a bench while admiring the scenery of Hangang.

You: This is nice.

Joshua: I like it if you like it.

You look at Joshua for a while. And he looks back.

Joshua: Why are you looking at me like that?

You: I'm happy.

Joshua: You're happy?

You: I'm very happy that you're the one I'm marrying in a few days.

Joshua: I'm happy too. Happy that I'm the one who gets to marry you.

He puts his hand on your cheek and pulls you in for a kiss.

After a while of chatting and just relaxing, Joshua brought you to try the swan boat at Hangang.

Joshua: I heard this is very popular among couples, I've been wanting to try it.

You: Is it? Okay!

You both start pedaling.

You got tired after a while so you decided to rest while Joshua pedals.

You: Jagiya go there! I want to take a picture.

You: There! There!

You: Wow, it's really beautiful.

You turned and saw Joshua's continuous pedaling. You realized that Joshua was tired.

You: Sorry Jagiya. I'll pedal now, you can rest.

Joshua: No, no.

You: You look so tired. Sorry for making you go around while I was resting.

Joshua: No, seriously, I don't mind at all. I'm happy and charged when I see you enjoying.

You: But still...

Men1: Hey beautiful!

It was a passing swan boat with 2 men inside.

Men1: How about you hop on my boat, I pedal well.

You: Excuse me?

Men2: Hop on pretty lady!

Joshua: Hey! Can't you see she's with me? Go your way.

Men1: I thought you were her uncle. Come girl, hop on! I'll treat you well.

Joshua: Hey!...

You: Get lost you bastards. I would rather date the ducks than you people.

Men1: What?!

You: Since you're so good at pedaling, why don't you pedal away now?

Men2: What a weird lady. Hey you listen...

Joshua: Didn't you hear her? Or are you deaf? Now get lost.

Men1: Whatever. Let's go.

They pedaled away.

Joshua looked at you with worry and happiness.

You: What's that look?

Joshua: I was feeling very jealous, but now I have nothing but happiness.

You: Why?

Joshua: I'm so glad you stood up for yourself with those men, you didn't even flinch.

You: Thanks to you too Joshua. You backed me up.

Joshua: I'm still mad. If I ever see them again, I might just beat them up.

You put your hands on Joshua and pats his chest.

You: Calm calm. Let's not think about them.

Instead of calming him down, you made his heart beat faster. His face started blushing.

Joshua: O.. Okay. Let's go.
