Getting rid of N was easy.
Keeping him from coming back was not.
Much to Uzi's disappointment and anger, N came back. He had left for a week and Uzi hoped that he wouldn't return, but she had been proven wrong when she heard wings flapping outside and found N sitting on her balcony rail again as he had when he first showed up.
She gave him a deep glare as he looked up and waved at her. Snapping the curtains shut, she went to bed and tried to pretend that he wasn't there.
It worked... for one night.
By the next night, she had a jar filled with garlic on hand, ready to chuck it at the vampire as she pulled aside the curtains and opened the door. "Shouldn't you be looking for a dagger in the woods?"
"Oh! Uh..." N fidgeted, and looked nervous as his tail swayed behind him. "Y-yes. But I checked all around the outpost. I could find-"
"Check again." She closed the door and shut the curtain, already tired of talking to him.
"Okay! See you later Lady Uzi!" Uzi tried hard not to flinch at the title as wing beats flew off.

Another week passed and the vampire returned.
"Couldn't find it?" Uzi casually tossed a clove of garlic up and down in her hand, keeping her glare on the vampire.
"I looked everywhere." N shrugged, eyes trained on the spice, a glimmer of fear within them. "Are you sure you lost it around the outpost?"
"I never said that I lost it around the outpost. I said that I lost it while I was trying to escape. It's probably somewhere along the trail or hiding in a bush. You should go look again."
N slowly nodded his head, opening his wings to take off. He paused however, looking back at her with slightly pleading eyes. "Before I go, can I at least see my puppy? Or hold him? I just wanna-BISCUITS!" N shrieked in fear as the clove flew past one of his wings. He took to the sky in panic when Uzi reached for another clove.
She glared at his retreating form for a good while before shutting the door. While closing the curtains, she looked towards the puppy, who was sitting on her bed, looking at her curiously. "... biscuits." She muttered quietly, gazing at the dog for a long while. "... yeah. I can work with that."

"I was expecting you about a week ago."
Uzi was casually leaning against the doorway, looking at the vampire with mixed annoyance and amusement.
N was covered in various leaves with splotches of dirt and mud clinging to his clothes. His hat was askew on his head, and his hair was a mess. He looked more like someone who had been running in the woods for long hours in the rain than an actual vampire.
"Really?" His eyes lit up. "You were?"
"It took you a week to come the last two times." Uzi said. "I was starting to think you got roasted when you didn't show up."
