2 years later...

Stefania's POV

The sun shined through the morning horizon. The weather was really cold considering it was early February. I woke up to see Lando sleeping peacefully beside me. Ever since Max left, I had struggled a lot since I missed him a lot. Lando helped me get through it all and I couldn't be more grateful to him for it. In the two years that Lando was at RedBull he won one world title with them in 2024 while Checo won in 2025 after the fight went down to the wire. Shortly after that, Checo announced his retirement from Formula 1, however he was going to stay with RedBull as a senior advisor for the team. Lando even proposed to me a few months ago and that had got me thinking about the past and future a lot.

"Morning beautiful."Lando spoke up finally waking up.

"Morning Lan, had a good sleep?"I asked.

"With you always but tell me what's going on, I know that look on your face."He replied back.

"You always know me so well Lan."I replied back amusingly.

"You know I do after all you are my fiancée, now tell me what's wrong?"He asked.

"I don't know, I'm just really nervous for the future and have a lot of thoughts from the past. Our wedding is coming up next year and I don't know how everything is going to go. On top of that, I just miss Max so much I don't even know if he will be there when we get married."I replied sadly.

"Nia trust me when I say this, Max wherever he is right now is still looking out for you, he loves you just as much as I do and whether he is there or not he would want you to be happy."Lando replied back cheering me up a little.

"Thank you Lan, I needed that."I replied back hugging him.

"Anytime Nia."He replied back kissing me on the lips.

I was now excited for the future for the first time in a long while. 2026 was nearly upon us and I vowed to make it a year to remember. I have no idea what type of obstacles and challenges I will face but with Lando by my side as well as all of our friends, I know the year would turn out great. I wished that I would get to see my brother again hopefully soon, as I got out of bed ready for the day ahead.

A/N-That marks the end of this book guys, I wanted it to be a short one, introducing Stefania and reuniting her with her family. However, this isn't going to be the end of the story. This is only the end of the beginning, the SEQUEL will be coming out very soon focusing on the 2026 season with the new engine regulations coming in and all of our favourite characters will be returning!! That includes a certain world champion 👀👀.
