-Other notes: longsword, with a heart-shaped ruby in its pommel

-Predictions: (books only) Will be integral in protecting the Vale when the Others finally breach the Bloody Gate; although, as with all the previous wielders of Lady Forlon, I think their defenses will ultimately fail.
