Artemis, huntress of the night
One of the goddesses of the moon
Who helps women with their plightYou defend against the harmful
Protecting the weak
Your bow and arrow skills are sharp
And in mythology you are never meekSister to Apollo
You're but a short while older
His skills match up against yours
But your choices can be bolderYour father is Zeus
As seen with most deities in Greece
But your mother is Leto
And a beautiful goddess is sheYou rule over the moon
And take care of women too
You protect women who have been abused
And seek revenge for those it's dueYou're known for your chastity
Never once taking a partner or bedmate
Those who join the immortal Hunters Of Artemis
Have vowed to also abateYou're goddess of the hunt
Slaying wild animals with your bow
No creature is too fast
When your eye is set on a foeThank you for your protection
For your gifts and aid to women
You are truly a goddess to be admired
That is but a givenYou're sometimes overshadowed,
But your power is equal to your twin
Your a goddess I have always been drawn to
And I hope my journey with you is about to begin
