"Ok Steven...break this down for me again...?" Sadie said

"Ok connies wait here "

I took sadie over to the side because i didn't want the other connie to know about my plan to ask her to be my valentine and it re explain everything else

"All of a sudden pearl said she wanted to kill connie!" I said in a loud whisper

"but i never let pearl tell me why..."

"How come what if it was important?"

"But sadie! Kill and Connie were in the same sentence i knew it could bad!"

"Why dont you let her finish ill keep the...connies here just incase"

"Thanks sadie!"

I ran out the door to hurry and find pearl.

"pEARL!? Im ready to listen to you! Im sorry i kept cutting you off!!"

I was screaming up and down the town. Until i finally look at my house..

"Pearl?"

I said but i started hearing her talk about me near the warp pad i hid so she couldn't see me while i eavesdropped.

"but garnet he wont listen to me! ive tried explaining to him those aren't connie and there some DAnGERous CREature!!"

"Pearl...calm down i found out why he cant see them for what they really are, since he's half human, the creatures taken advantage of that. they change based on the pleasure of the humans mind. everyone sees them as connie because Steven tells them thats who "that thing" is"

"What!?"

"Exactly and if we dont stop it soon it will get stronger from the feelings of steven and everyone else"

"gO garnet this is why ur leader and where not u go girl" Says amethyst

"Oh no...i have to help sadie and plus where is the real connie then!?"

I decided not to hangout and listen for that info i decided to take matters in my own hands and find her myself

I was finally at the doughnut shop and i heard screaming

"Sadie whats wrongg!!"

Everything was tossed around it was a disaster

"I was trying to talk to the connies but they snap and through me and ran through the wall"

Sadie was shaking and cry

"Steven what is that THIng because it defiantly isn't connie !!"

She curled up into fetal position and cried even more

I couldn't look at sadie like that anymore so as i was running after that thing i told lars to go help his women

"wERe not dating steven!!"

"wHATEVEr!!"

I finally caught up with the creature connie thing

"What have you done with her!"

"With who steven?"

"Connie!! I want her the REAL one!! Where is she!!!"

"Im right here"

The creature started walking towards me and rubbed my hair

"Mmm...NO NO"

I pushed it off me

"I dont want you!!"

"Im right here, everything you want, and possibly even more"

"Nooooo!! I want the real connie, she's everything i want!! Shes my friend!! She smart, funny, beautiful, everything and ur taking that away from me!! Why!??!!"

I feel to my knees crying,

"I just want her back..i just wanna tell her how i really feel...for real..to her face... I hate hiding it.."

"Steven you already told me"

"Noo your not real, your a creature!!"

I grabbed the pointiest thing i could find and threw it at the creature ...it just...puffed... No gem..no nothing

I got up and searched for connie i started thinking about what i wanted to tell her how i felt...i wanted to tell her im sorry i just wanted to be with her right now..i started thinking about how scared she is and i got teary eyed

I fell to the ground on all fours and cried
"Im not strong enough" i said "at least not in the real way"
