Valentine's Day

~FIFTEEN~

That night i felt connie and i were closer than ever...

We continued dancing and my gem kept glowing..it set the mood ya know?
It was amazing everything felt like a dream...

"Steven" she looked up at me with this gorgeous twinkle in her eyes

I started blushing because it just...i don't know how to describe it...

"Yea?"

"Lets have this moment last forever"

"Ok"

I closed my eyes and leaned in to kiss her then she said my name again...multiple times and then they started to fade...

I was waking up

"Woah ste-man... Get a hold of yourself..."

"aMEThySt!? What are you doing ??"

"Umm...i was trying to wake you up to tell you connie went home for a bit but then you got all lovey dovey"

She started making fun of me and laughing really hard

I started blushing

"I...im gonna go see if i can catch up with connie.." I said nervously

She was still laughing

"oK but you might wanna put some cloths pants on HAHAH"

I looked down and did a nervous whine and covered my self with my shirt i got pants on as fast as i could and ran out the door
I started walking on the boardwalk with my hands in my pocket

"Jeez amethyst...why are you always making fun of me..i still have feeling ya know"

I started tearing up...then i spotted connie she was walking out the doughnut shop

"He Con...." I was gonna shout but then she sat by some boy on the bench..

"Wha..?"

They started talking and laughing and then they hugged...

I felt rage bubble up inside i wanted to scream..shout..something but i just stood there ..watching...

Then connie looked up at me she was smiling and then looked at me and then back at that boy. she started shaking her head and her hands at me ...

Before l left i got a glimpse of him.. He's handsome

__Connie's P.o.v__

I saw Steven walking away he looked crushed

This is a huge misunderstanding

"David i gotta go ill talk to you later just ...go"

"Wait, lemme come with you"

He has a really smooth sweet voice so i couldn't say no

We started following Steven till we made it back to his house down by the beach..

"Steven !!" He just looked back at me and glared

"Steven please listen you got this all wrong !!"

"No, connie i dont...you DO! " He stood up and started yelling at me

"We are always tit for tat when it comes to these things !! Why cant you understand I'm trying...i wanna make you happy..." He started crying

"But i keep hurting you, and you keep hurting me...connie...I've been thinking...maybe this isn't working..i wanna protect you..i wanna be by your side through everything but....you keep going to other guys...i guess im just not good enough for you..."

He looked down at the sand

"Steven, your everything to me..i don't wanna lose you...i love you and nobody else..,besides my family, but you mean the world to me, what do you think i meant when i said , i wanna be apart if your universe ..?"

"But connie, what about that boy over there...? Hes so much better looking than i am...i mean...just look at him..!!"

I smiled at him and did a slight laugh

"Haha Steven, this is my cousin, dave...he came for a visit from paris"

He just looked at me shocked and started blushing

I gave him a kiss on this cheek
"I love you, Steven"

"I love you too, connie"

"Awee that is so, sweet " dave said

"You guys are so adorable, i could just eat you up"

"Ok dave , thats enough" i said blushing

"Not until i get to meet this , handsome devil of yours connie.."

__Steven's p.o.v__

Dave started eyeing me up
I look over at connie with a "help me" look on my face ..she understood

"wEll dave i think its time for you to go...its been a nice visit with you but...i got things to do tomorrow.."

"But i just got here and i still didn't get to meet all your friends"

She looked to ground and chuckled

"Steven...is kinda my only friend...thats my age at least"

"Oh"

This awkward silence grew upon us

"oK connie i guess ill go then.. Bonjour ! " He blew me a kiss and connie one too

"Yea and ill take my GIRLfriend home"

They just stared at me but we went are separate ways

"Connie..does dave like ..."

"Boys...yes...would he ever try to get with you...probably..."

"Oh...thats awkward.. "

We got to Connie's door

"Good night connie" i gave her a kiss on the cheek and was about to leave..

"Steven wait, wont you stay the night with me?"

I gave her a smile

"Of course"

I started thinking to myself 'maybe this is it...maybe this is the night...i finally got "the talk" from dad...but....I'm extremely nervous'

We went up to connie's room and its happened...i...i don't know what do...i don't know what to say so i just laid there when everything was over and connie was just cuddles up on me...i was externally screaming with happiness but felt awful and extremely guilty

I woke up the next morning to connie sitting up on the bed with this little white thing in her hand...she looked upset...

"Are you..ok..?? Whats that in your hand...?"

She clenched it tightly to her then gave me a hug hug

"Whaa...whats happening ???"

She gave me a kiss and pulled out the white thing...

"We did it!! " she handed the things and it was a box and a note

I started to get super nervous..

"Did what...?"

"Lasted a whole month!! She gave me a huge kiss hAPPY anniversary!!!"

I completely forgot but i acted like i remembered

I gave her a hug back "happy anniversary, oh hey connie i gotta go..i got something big planned for us tonight " i winked and walked out the door..i slid down it

"Uggghghh what am i going to dooo"
