Valentine's Day

~TWENTY NINE~

I was on my knees crying as the creature started stomping forward laughing. Then i sniffled

"Go ahead, there is no point in being here anymore"

I looked at the ground waiting for the creature to smash me

I started thinking back through my life with everyone
I started thinking about connie. Our first kiss, everything

Our arguments, her laugh, her smile,
Our jokes together

"Connie, im glad you're were apart of my universe"

Tears started to roll down my face even harder

I could hear the creature breathing. I knew it was right above me.

It raised its arm and then a bubble popped

"Huh?"

It was garnet

"sTEVEN GET OUT OF HERE!!"

I was cryin with tears of joy i wanted to hug her but i listened

I ran, i ran as fast as i could, but i felt i was abandoning her and everyone else.

I needed to take a breather so i sat on a stomp

"Im so glad garnets back, i hope the others are too"

Then i started to get sad again

"Connie" i whispered to myself clenching my heart

I sniffled and got up and ran back towards garnet

When i got there everyone was out and pearl and garnet were fused

"You're all back!! Hahah" i said as tears streaked my face

"Hahah did ya miss me?" Sardonyx said crouching down

I hugged her arm

"Yes!! I've missed you alll!!!"

She smiled and laughed and continued fighting the creature

Ame was off to the side looking into the woods

While i was walking over to her there, There was a huge boom

Sardonyx crushed the creature with her hammer

I just looked over at her with stars in my eyes

"You did it" i said to myself

I felt better , but i was still empty inside

I sighed and finally made it over to amethyst

"Whatcha doing?" I asked

"I heard something"

"Huh"

"Shhh!"

She started tip toeing into bushes
And waved me down to follow

I thought about it for awhile, then I decided to follow her

"Amethyst wait!" I softly screamed

"Shhhhhh!!!"

She started to scare me , her gem started to glow and she started to bring out her whip

Before she fulling brought it out we heard some rustling from behind us

"Steven ! Amethyst! What are you doing!" Pearl said crossing her arms with garnet behind her

"Shhh, i heard some junk back here and i wanted to see what was up" ame said rolling her eyes

Pearl rolled hers too and just followed

Amethyst started tip toeing again and i did too, i stayed close, i wanted to know what she was trying to find.
