Seungcheol's POV

Another dreaded day, a bunch of trainings here and there. I could never take a break.

"Stand up tall Prince Seungcheol, you are the heir for the throne. You must hold yourself high at all times." I just nodded at my professor and followed his instruction. I wish this day could go faster so I could meet him already.

Time didn't disappoint me when it's time to meet my history teacher. I tried my best not to smile when I saw him reading through a book. I watched him for a few more minutes before clearing my throat. He immediately looked up and gave me a smile.

It took all of my self-control not to run up to him and engulf him in an embrace. He's just so beautiful.

"It's a little too early for our daily lessons your majesty. You didn't try to escape Sir Wonwoo's teachings did you?" There was a glint in his eyes which I adored. I gave a chuckle to hide my blush.

"No, he just dismissed me earlier than usual," I took a step closer towards him, "and you just called me your majesty. You know you can just call me Seungcheol." He just raised an eyebrow at me and shook his head.

"We're in class prince," I slightly winced at the emphasis, "please take a seat so we can continue our lesson from yesterday."

I did what I was told. If he told me to jump off a cliff, I would gladly do so. I would do anything for him. Anything for my Jeonghan.

"So to make the kingdom stronger, the heir must marry into the neighboring country. This was a tradition for all royals before you or even before your grandfather." I scoffed internally at that sentence. There are many ways to make a kingdom stronger, and not by just marrying.

He seemed to read my mind. I tried to avoid his gaze since he would probably try to make me say it.

"I know what you're thinking," he stated calmly which made me look back at him, "but this is your responsibility prince."

"What if I don't want to marry Princess Jasmine?"

Princess Jasmine was the best princess for me according to my dear father. She is an extraordinary person indeed but my heart belongs to another. And that another is slowly making his way towards my desk.

"Hmm why not? She's beautiful, kind, and from a noble kingdom." He crossed his arms as he stood directly in front of me, with just a table separating us.

"Yes but I don't want her." He then sighed exasperatedly.

"Well who do you want then?"

"You"
