Arnav advanced Khushi... of course, furiously. How dare she taunt him!

To his surprise, she was looking at him steadily not getting up from the seat. There was no fear on her face. That somewhat shook him because he had never faced such a constant gaze in his life.

"Just because I don't fire you, don't fly high..." he said biting his teeth.

"Actually, I'm not flying but my FEAR fled away...Shhhh..." said Khushi, showing her hand like a flight fearlessly.

"Whaaaat?" he frowned.

"I was so tensed about working for you until I met you. But now, I don't think, I should fear you because I'm not working for an arrogant man like you"

Taking two long steps he reached her seat and leaned towards her. Though Khushi leaned back a little she looked at him steadily.

"Arrogant? And me?" He gritted his teeth.

"Even after being at fault, even after I apologized, you shouted at me... then who you are?" she too bit her teeth.

"I don't have to give you an explanation about who I'm"

"You don't have to because I got to know who you are"

Arnav stood straight and rolled his eyes irritatingly.

"Thank you Devi Maiya... you saved me from working for him," She said joining her hands, looking up.

"Don't think you got a firm place in this company. I know when and how to fire you..."

"Why are you waiting for Mr. Raizada? You can fire me right away..."

"You don't have to tell me what should I do. You are under my radar and I will surely throw you out. A simple mistake from you will lead you to trouble... mind it"

"Wow... open challenge? Really? I like challenges..." Instead of getting worried, she said excitedly, biting her lip, and closing her eyes.

Arnav was like, what the... Did she like challenges? He could not believe a girl could be so fearless and balanced. She should be scared damn it... but she was not. He didn't know what KIND she was. Her CONFIDENCE irked him.

"I'm tolerating you only because of Anju"

Khushi understood what was his WEEKNESS. So, this was why he didn't fire her? That meant she could PALY more freely.

"Look Mr. Arrogant... now also you are the one who is standing in MY cabin. I didn't come to your place nor did I intend to talk to you. You could avoid getting irritated if you just FORGET me..."

"Forget...? You are not even in my mind. I'm not thinking about you... I don't have to think about you... you mean nothing to me"

"Oh God... why are you always wrong, Man? Aman sir said you won't cross my path..."

Cutting her,

"It doesn't mean you can be free to do anything... I'm your BOSS. Don't forget that"

"Yes, BOSS" She stood straight and saluted.

Arnav gritted his teeth because it was an open mockery. He fisted his finger and left her cabin... not before throwing a glare at her.

Khushi looked cool not taking him in her head. She accepted his challenge. She knew what it meant. She had to put in more than cent percent of effort to tackle Arnav. He won't be quiet. He won't let her win. He would try to find flaws in every action of hers. She should be alert all the time. She knew people would try to lower our confidence level first before demolishing us. if we had a clear mind, no one could beat us. But she liked that challenge. Why would she be scared when she was not at fault? She had never seen such a head-weighted man in her life. It was fine if he wanted to be upper hand... but not to this extent. She was not his slave though. Why should she tolerate his arrogance? Let's see how long it would go... or else, she could simply RESIGN. Until then, enjoy the challenge by irritating Mr. Arrogant.
