Ayat's dream:
"Ma, please! I didn't do anything!" Begging on my knees, tears were threatening to fall. "You did this, didn't you? It has only been a month since your filthy dad died, and you're already on my nerves," Mom spat those words out while kicking my stomach. "Mom, please spare me this once, please ma," I screamed until my lungs gave up. My blurry vision saw a woman approaching. "You are such a burden on me! So now, pay for it!" With a vicious look and an inhuman mind, she drew her knife toward me. In a flash, my back was covered with blood. "Look what you've done; the blood is everywhere! Ew, clean it!" Ma, my back hurts, help me, please. I beg ma, please help me!
POV: Ayat
"MA!" I shouted, waking up from my nightmare. It was just one of those nights where I could cover my pupils for a while, only to get disturbed by my past memories. As I'm already awake, and it's just six in the morning, I might just go for a walk. Meanwhile, give my mind a break from all this."Pass me the ball, please, ma'am," some kid yelled from afar as I noticed a ball near my right foot. "Here you go!" Practicing early in the morning, I love such motivation in the morning. It was the same park where I saw Clara for the first time, and ironically enough, beside the park there is a lake where I saw her for the last time.

"I would like you to look at the younger children's cases," Dr. Kelvin said, passing me their files. "How are you doing, Zara?", "With all means, I am the happiest," she spoke with excitement beaming from her voice. "Why? Something special?" I was curious to know the reason behind this sick kid's agglutinate smile. "My uncle is visiting me today, and you know it's been a while since I met him." Her family is a miracle on earth, a heaven for me.
I was done checking Zara. "Hell-" my voice got stuck when a familiar smell hit my nostrils. It felt like I had bathed in that particular perfume before. The person who just passed by me was the root of the unforgettable essence . I looked over just to get the sight of a man in black pants paired with a black sweater. Hair done well, shaved face, sharp jawline - I am gazing at that man again. It isn't my fault, that man over there talking with Sumaiya, holding onto Zara's cabin's knob, is a five-course meal.
Year: 2023
POV: Ayan
"I'm late, I know," I said while looking at Sumaiya. My dearest sister, but my eyes found their view somewhere else. I can never forget those long, luscious curly hair; was it her? "Who is that, sis?" I questioned Sumaiya."That is Zara's Doctor, Dr. Noor." I blinked.
"What is her full name?"
"Jannat Noor Ayat, I think."
I looked back in a hurry, but she was gone again. I lost hope of seeing her again. Was it really her? Was I dreaming again? After all these years of searching, will she show up when I gave up?
"Are you here for me or Ayat?" Zara declared a war "Of course for you, princess." It seemed all a dream. Zara was fine because of her, or maybe not my Noor, but still, I have to thank Zara's Ayat.

Year: 2020
POV: Ayan"Got anything?" I asked impatiently. It's been four year or so, and I still hold on to those earrings and a name. The only thing captured in the wedding footage were her pair of payal. She felt like a dream, her identity was a mere hallucination . Her name, her face, her whole existence was just left in my memories. In Australia, there was no one named Jannat Noor Ayat.
"Sir, the pair of earrings has matched with an identity", Collen spoke.
"Who is it?",
"Clara William". That's not Ayat.
"Sir, but she is dead."
"What? When?",
"Sir, Clara died 3 years ago in a crossfire".
"Details, Collen!",
"Sir, she was the daughter of a big criminal and gangster named William. She died at the hands of her father's deadly enemies".
"What about the earrings?", "Sir, they had matching earrings." That clicks, this Clara knew Jannat, she knew her. "Send me the rest," I spoke and put the phone down just to encounter my soul collapsing. Zara, my niece, lying in silence on the cold floor.
