Skyler's POV

opening up my eyes, I see the bright sun I close them back up and cuddled more into my pillow

realizing that there was a heavy object around my waist, I look and see, and notice it's a arm realizing I wasn't cuddling into my pillow I was cuddling into Matt's chest

not recollecting when he got here, I didn't realize but I begin to stare at his face he looks so peaceful

I don't know if this is real or a dream but if it is a dream, I never want to wake up from it. everything is perfect putting my head back onto his chest I hear his heart beating

1.....2.....3.....4.....

I begin to drift back to sleep

feeling of a hand caressing my cheek I stir in my sleep and flutter my eyes open blinking several times, until the brightness of the room finally adjusted to my eyes

" good morning" Matt says with a raspy morning voice

" morning" I say while looking up into his eyes

i instantly started getting up " i'm sorry" noticing that I was staring at him for a abnormally long time

" i'm gonna go take a shower" I say, as walking away trying to hide the blush on my face

I close Scarlet door, pressing my back to it, letting out a sigh

" is everything all right" Scarlet looks at me from her bed raising an eyebrow

" yep just peachy" I say as I pop up on her bed

" when did Matt come over last night? I hardly remember anything." I look at her. then repping the sleep from my eyes.

" oh, so you don't remember as I quote* He's my favorite person*" she says, in a high-pitched voice" I do not sound like that" she shrugs her shoulders" that's what you said so as I came back from the restroom you called him I left you for two seconds right after the call, you puked your guts out. he came here pretty quickly instantly by your side and taking care of you" I started blushing at what she said at the end

" wipe the drool off of your mouth" I roll my eyes" i'm gonna go take a shower" getting off the bed and walking to the restroom

as soon as I got in there, I turned on the water all the way hot

as I was waiting for it to heat up, I started doing my morning routine, wiping off all the make up from last night brushing my teeth

looking in the mirror, you can kind of still see the bruises along my neck, and April starting to farm on my cheek

my eyes start to tear up

I hate how I just let him do whatever he wants to me

i've seen this film before and I didn't like the ending

I don't want to be like my mom this needs to end now

I touched the water to see that it's at my desired temperature. I begin to take off my clothes.

I stepped into the shower welcoming the boiling hot water to my back instantly removing all of the tension from my body

I exhale as the water hits my back and cascades down my body. I feel completely and utterly relaxed.

For the first time in a while my brain went completely silent, and that feels so safe

I start washing my body, scrubbing, every inch trying to make my body forget the memories of Mason.

after that, I start to shave, removing all of my hair from my body like I was a newborn baby I exfoliate

after that, I do my hair

as I finish up, I turned off the water

putting on my favorite lotion

I grab a towel and wrap it along my body

opening up the door, I get hit with the cold breeze, making my whole body shiver

" oh, I'm so sorry" Matt instantly covers his eyes with his hand" I was just gonna grab a charger" I smile at this situation

"oh umm i'll be pretty quick I'm just gonna get a pair of clothes, you can borrow mine it's right underneath the vanity" I say, as I go through the clothes

and grab that outfit that I like and head back into the restroom getting changed

*outfit*

heading back into the room, brushing my hair and walking to the vanity

i sprain heat protectant spray all over my hair. I grab the blow dryer and plug it in.

I noticed Matt sitting against the wall on his phone as it was charging
