I noticed Matt sitting against the wall on his phone as it was charging
I started getting my make up out of my make up bag
" you know what would be fun" I made no eye contact as I was applying my moisturizer
he hummed as a response
" for a YouTube video you should let me do your make up" I say, as I am applying primer
" fuck no" he protest
" why not I think it be funny" I retort as I was covering up my marks and bruises you can tell that there was something there so I want to cover up just in case. Luckily Matt can't really see me from this angle so I'm not worried too much right now.
" what will I benefit other than looking like a total idiot" he says
" making me happy and other people too"I replied back
" i'll think about it" he sighed
I started to finish up doing my make up
after I was done I started cleaning up the table and posted a story

" Matt I'm sorry" I say as turned my head to him
" for what?" he makes a confusing face.
" for last night I shouldn't have called you and make you become a babysitter for me you could have been doing something important, or probably having a way better night than handling a drunk girl-" he cuts me off as I was speaking
" Sky it's totally fine you know I'll do anything for you. You're my best friend." he softens his eyes.

Mat break the staring, contest that we were having " do you want some breakfast?" he speaks up.
"no I'm good" I reply" besides Scarlet has nothing here." I say.
" I can go get you McDonald's or anything" that's sweet but I feel like if I eat anything I'll be sick" yeah no I'm good"
The bedroom door burst open" holy shit" I put my hand to my heart literally almost shitted myself
" Mason she doesn't want to talk to you right now" I hear Scarlet say behind him she mouths" i'm sorry I tried to kick him out." I give her it's ok look
" why are you here I fucking saw what you did to her last night." Matt gets a protectively
" what did you do Mason?" Scarlet looks between everybody.
Mason ignores them, and just says"Skyler we need to talk" I don't really want to be alone with him right now"ok we can talk come on" I padded the bed for him to sit
" I mean in private just me and you" he tries to grab my arm but I flinch
" you don't have to go if you don't want to" Matt says
maybe he might apologize or something if he doesn't I'm tired of hearing his bullshit
"ummm all right fine i'll be back" I get up and walk out into the hallway of Scarlets apartment, leaving the door open so I can get back in
" can I have your phone?" is he dead ass
" are you fucking serious no I don't but is that all you have to say to me you literally put your hands on me you use me as a fucking punching bag I can't believe I believe you you said you change I was really happy for the first time in our relationship and you just fuck things up all you do is just leave empty promises i'm just so fucking tired of this and you just always act like everything is normal in front of people i'm just so fucking tired of this we're done I don't want to see you again" I just cancel everything out. I think he's yelling. I quickly close the door as I got inside and locked it. I slide down pulling my knees to my chest and I just let everything out.
I don't know how long I was like this, but I felt an arm wrap around me. I didn't have any strength to lift up my head from my hands and knees. I just sit there crying.
