"who says there's nothing to be done...if even a strand of hair on my daughter's is harmed...I will rip off that person's arms." - Cami spoke in silent rage.
Cami's tone was void of emotions and the blood in her eyes shocked her companions a little, as they have never seen this side of her.
No one said anything else as the screen continued playing.
The moon was still high up in the sky and there was nothing but silence at the falls. That was until a loud splash could be heard that broke through the silence, followed by a concerned scream-
"LEAH!!!"
Rebekah : Leah.... I think I've heard that name before.
At the top of the falls a foggy figure could be seen that was desperately trying to search for something midst the cold waters. Unable to see anything the figure hurriedly came down and stood near the bank of the waters. As the moonlight fell on her, features were more visible.
It was none other than Alyssa the girl they saw earlier while Raphael was given a tour by Lizzie.
She looked very worried.
Alyssa : Leah, this is not funny okay come out....come out wherever you are!!
Getting no response in return she removed her shoes and went into the water.
Alyssa : Okay you have made your point, I shouldn't have doubted how utterly stupid and brave you are..........LEAH!!..... OMG..........Your family is going to kill me.
Damon and Kai laugh at Alyssa's hysteric behavior.
Ayana : Children these days are so impulsive and reckless.
Elijah : oh I agree with you there. He said as he crossed his arms in front of his chest.
Damon scoffs
Kai : Oh please ....where's the fun in being a good little runt if you don't feel the thrill of life and take risks .
Damon : My point exactly.
Almost all responsible adults shake their heads at the two's statement.
As she stood their mumbling she didn't notice the slight movements in the water behind her.
