Part 19.

Rhaegar's Pov. 

I truly wish I could say the past ten years have been peaceful but it would be a lie, Alicent goes out of her way to show her dislike for my family and mostly to Rhaenyra. Daemon is in Essos but with Laena Velaryon and her dragon Vhagar, their daughters and one other dragon. Ser Criston Cole has become the Queen's lapdog for reasons unknown well probably because just like my uncle he wished to have my wife. The relationship between my family and that of Alicent's is mostly on tension but we try to keep the children out of it, but well some are easier than others. 

Father's condition has worsened even more he lost a arm! But still he remains strong and leads the realm while I try to advise and listen to the word try he doesn't take my advice many times but I'm still free to give my opinion.

And then ther--

"Father! Visenya said I would never get a dragon!" Deryan yells with teary eyes as he runs over and I send his older sister a raised brow before picking him up. 

"Your sister shouldn't speak of those things when she herself hasn't bonded with a dragon yet, but soon we will sail for Dragonstone again and we can see if you will be able to bond with one. Not every egg hatches mine didn't but when i was seven years old just like you now I bonded with Diaval." I say as he lifts his head off my chest and his teary eyes meet mine.

"S-so i will get a dragon like you and mother?" He shyly asks and i give him a nod. "Yes you will but your sister may be a different story if she continues to say things like this." I say as I look at Visenya who raises her brow at me.

"Who says I haven't claimed a dragon yet?" She say making me walk over and take her hand. 

"Well I would be very proud of you but we haven't been in Dragonstone for many months, you are strong, a tad aggressive like your mother so one day the perfect dragon will appear for you. Now we have to find your mothers and siblings." I state and she rolls her eyes before we start walking towards my chambers.

"What is the most aggressive dragon alive at this time? "She asks me and i look down with a raised eyebrow.

"Well Vhagar was quite aggressive and temperament full until Laena claimed her but she will always remain more aggressive than other dragons, then we have Diaval who before me wasn't named. No man dared to wander to close to his den because they wouldn't be able to tell the tale. But i think the most aggressive dragon is The Cannibal who feasts on fallen dragons, steals and eats eggs and hatchlings also he isn't fond of humans and most don't survive it when they encounter him. I saw the lizard once fly down from the clouds and attack Sheepstealer who was barely able to escape." I say and I see a smirk appear on her face as she holds my hand while Deryan is half asleep right now.

Reaching the door of my chambers i hear loud screams comming out them while Aemma and Daeron are sitting outside.

"Mother she's having the babe!"Aemma says with a smile as her younger brother leans against her shoulder and i carefully put the sleeping Deryan down besides her. 

"Great another one." Visenya says with a huff before sliding down the wall. 

"I'm going to be a uncle again!" Tommen almost yells as he runs over and i give him a smile as he stands beside me.
