Rhaegar's Pov.

Standing by the painted table I look it over once more before Saera speaks. "It's no easy thing for a man to be a dragonslayer. But dragons can kill dragons. And have. The simple truth is this, we have more dragons than Aegon."

"And I've said before that when dragons go to war countries burn, you wish for me to be king of ashes and bones?  No casualties have been fallen yet after the greens have taken the throne, because they are waiting for me to make the first move to prove the people right that I'm to wild to lead and Aegon is the best choice. And I may have given him that by cutting the snake's hand off." I state and Visenya gives me a shrug.

"Should have been his head."

"We could burn down King's landing tomorrow but is it not my duty as King to ensure duty and peace? Instead of throwing us into a war." I say making Saera roll her eyes. "You sound like Viserys."

"Are you not angry that they took what is yours!" Visenya almost yells making me turn in her direction. "Angry? Do not speak about anger, because I am and as much as i would love to let my anger lead me at this moment I know I can not. Now you are all dismissed." I say making them all start walking out the room besides Rhaenyra and Saera.

"Angry? Seven hells i feel as if i could start spewing fire any second." I breath out as I lean my back against the table and pinch the bridge of my nose.  Feeling a hand on my shoulder i slowly open my eyes to see Rhaenyra standing there with a sad smile.

"You should rest Rhaenyra." I softly say as I place my hands on her hips while she leans into my touch. "I can rest when this is fixed." She whispers as I lay my chin on the top of her head while Saera walks over and leans against my shoulder.

"I'm sorry." Rhaenyra suddenly whispers and I softly grab her chin to let our eyes meet, because I know what she's apologizing for and what happened is not her fault.

"What happened is not your fault, it's nobody's fault. It was simply not meant to be, and I'm sorry you had to go trough that." I whisper before leaning my forehead against hers while I wrap my arms around her.

"What will we do now, the greens have been making their moves for a long time already." Saera breaths out as she walks over making a sigh leave my lips. "We send word to, Borres Baratheon we share blood and did father not make many lords swear loyalty to me many years ago." I simply say making Rhaenyra pull her head away from my chest.

"Yes, but as I also remember you where in Essos back than. But your right we share blood with Borres Baratheon." She says making me nod before speaking again.

"We will send word to Jeyne Arryn, our mother was a Arryn. We will send word to Cregan Stark he swore to me when he was just a boy, so we have the support of the north now we need the support of the Riverlands so once again word will be sent to Lord Grover." I speak before our children walk into the room.

"Send us father." Deryan says making a heavy sigh leave my lips as I lean back against the table, it will be much faster for them to go, also it is much more personal and intimidating than a stupid raven.

"We are faster than a stupid raven and the dragons are more intimidating." Visenya says with a shrug making me shake my head with a chuckle. "I just said those same words in my head. "Deryan you will fly to the Eyrie, Visenya you will fly to Lord Grover at Riverrun. Daeron you will fly to Storm's End." I start before turning in the direction of Saera.

"And I hate to ask you, but could you fly to Winterfell." I say and she gives me a nod, before leaning forward and placing her lips against mine.

"Go get Ready, ill write the letters." I say with a deep breath before they all walk away from me, I hate that I have to send them out and possibly put them into danger but if we don't act fast the greens can get much more support. And in the end make me seem like the usurper.
