The urge to sleep disappeared a few minutes after your shared conversation with the group. It was too frantic for your liking but you enjoyed being a part of this chaos.

You kept on pondering that it's quite remarkable how, within just three months, someone as introverted as you found yourself deeply connected to them.

It was like a strong adhesive that kept you together with them, despite your usual inclination to keep emotions guarded. Their presence had a profound impact, and you couldn't resist the gravitational pull of their bond.

It was a beautiful and unexpected connection that defied your reserved nature.

Indeed, it may seem like the hyperactive members played a role, but that's not the sole reason.

Over the past few weeks you've gotten a lot closer to seungkwan and dino, the pair sounds unbelievable, fortunately they can somehow 'with a bit of work' make amends between themselves. You are the only child, unaware of pleasing sentiments shared towards their sibling.

After meeting dino you couldn't help but feel a pang of longing for a younger brother. You yearned for the joy and companionship that comes with having a sibling. You still remember seungkwan's remark with a displeasing scoff when you voiced out your thoughts.

Maybe you didn't forward that one message to ten people, that's why these disastrous thoughts are flooding in your brain.

Breaking into a soft airy smile, completely engrossed in your thoughts, absentmindedly stirring the sugar in your coffee with a spoon.

"Are you smiling over the group chat?" You break out of the trance, watching jeonghan settling in front with a gentle tug on his lips. You shook your head in response.

"Morning"  still feeling a bit drowsy, he mustered up the energy to wish you, his voice carried a hint of sleepiness.

"Good morning." The exchange filled the air with a sense of closeness, setting the tone for a wonderful day ahead.

"What's the reason for such a bright smile on your face or may I say, who's the reason?" He flashed you a mischievous grin and playfully glanced at you before diving into his plate of food. He couldn't resist devouring a piece of sausage, savoring every bite. Then, he took a sip of the refreshing juice, raising the glass to his lips.

You know full well after years of togetherness you both once shared. Jeonghan couldn't resist teasing you with a mischievous glint in his eyes. It was clear that his teasing was all in good fun.

"just someone" you went along with his cheeky inquiry, full embracing the dramatic flair of the moment.

The sweet orange juice left a strange bitterness on his tongue, he wasn't entirely sure if it was the juice itself turned sour or your words that affected his taste buds.

What you failed to recollect was the underlying reason behind jeonghan's teasing back then. Unbeknownst to you, his teasing was a clever way to elicit more of the heartfelt words of affirmation that you would often give in return. With every teasing remark, he secretly hoped to hear your sweet words of denial once again.

"Now I truly understand why you and woozi always keep their phone on silent while sleeping" You chuckled, unconsciously trying to change the topic which did work quite well.

"this is nothing. One of them disturbs everyone over a minor inconvenience." Giggles bubbles between you both, filling the air with delightful joy. As you both engaged in a lively conversation, your notification went off, brightening up the screen.

Jeonghan noticed a sudden shift in your expression as you received a text and although he tried to ignore it, a hint of bitterness unknowingly washed over him.

He couldn't help but wonder who could make you smile like that, even though he didn't fully understand the reason behind his own reaction when he tried to steal a glance at your phone placed on the table.

You opened the message, curious about Joshua's thoughts on the clothes you had selected for him for the upcoming fashion week. Joshua expressed his appreciation for your choices, praising your keen eye for style. A sense of satisfaction washed over you.

"Oh! That someone is Joshie?"  he jokingly teases you about his member being the reason behind your cherry mood. You played along.

"Maybe" You eyes met him for a second before you fixed your gaze back, texting a thank you.

A hint of uneasiness flickered in his eyes when you playfully accepted his words. He didn't expect your response to feel so light-hearted, but he couldn't help but wonder if there was a deeper meaning behind your playful acceptance.

The conversation drew to a close, he couldn't help but feel the urge to bring up your past breakup with a string of apologies. He opened his mouth but the arrival of the other staff members caused him to shut it, marking the end of a good exchange.
