You had an amazing time at the Paris fashion show with the crew. The weather was perfect, and everyone made it to the venue on time.

The best part? No flight delays this time! It was smooth sailing from start to finish.

While Joshua and Seokmin were away, the other crew members had the opportunity to spend quality time with their families during the Chuseok celebration.

Chuseok is a significant holiday in South Korea, often referred to as the Korean Thanksgiving. It's a time when families come together to honour their ancestors, share delicious meals, and participate in various traditional activities.

During this special occasion, it's common for people to return to their hometowns to be with their loved ones.

They gather to pay respects at ancestral gravesites, perform ancestral rituals, and express gratitude for the harvest season.

After having the most amazing time with his family, Jeonghan heads back to his cosy room and flops down on his super comfy bed. He's feeling all tired and ready to take his afternoon nap, drift off into dreamland.

But as soon as he closes his eyes, thoughts of you start flooding his mind like a tidal wave. It's like you've become a permanent fixture in his thoughts, and he can't help but have the biggest, cheesiest smile on his face.

All those little interactions you've had over the past few weeks have left an indelible mark on his heart. He found this pretty incredible how someone can have such a profound impact on his thoughts and emotions.

Jeonghan couldn't resist the urge to find out what you might be doing. So, he quickly rummaged through his pockets, pulled out his phone, and dialled Joshua for a FaceTime call.

And just like that, on the fourth ring, Joshua picked up the call, revealing his fresh-faced self with damp hair and a simple beige t-shirt. It looks like he might have just taken a refreshing shower.

"How was the event?" Jeonghan asked to play it naturally.

"It was great! I met a lot of artists there and-"

And just as Joshua was responding, your voice suddenly called out for him, interrupting their conversation.

"Joshua, the food is getting cold." You said, placing the dishes on the table.

It startled Jeonghan on the other end, making him wonder why you and Joshua would be in a room together at night.

"You're with y/n?" Jeonghan asked with a confusion evident in his voice. He could clearly see the image of Joshua walking towards the table on the phone screen.

"Yes, I was feeling lonely eating alone as manager-nim was tired enough to not join and others went shopping." Joshua sighed, sitting down on the chair.

"So we ended up eating together." Joshua turned the camera towards me so that Jeonghan could see you.

"Hi." You waved at jeonghan who was frozen in his spot with a smile on your face.

"Let's talk later. I am starving." and with that the call ended from the other side. The smile Jeonghan had before vanished.

Jeonghan's heart pounded in his chest as the call came to an end. He couldn't shake off the overwhelming feeling of worry and possessiveness that consumed him.

The thought of you being alone with Joshua or anyone else sent waves of jealousy through him, and he couldn't even fathom the idea of you not belonging to him.

It was like a storm brewing inside him.

Even though Joshua had explained the situation, Jeonghan's mind was filled with doubts. He couldn't help but question why you were alone with Joshua, despite the explanation given.

It gnawed at him, fueling his insecurities and intensifying his dislike for the situation. It was as if his heart was caught in a tug-of-war between trust and jealousy.

Every second that passed without you by his side felt like an eternity. Jeonghan's imagination ran wild, conjuring up scenarios that only fueled his anxiety further.

The fear of losing you consumed him, clouding his judgement and making it difficult for him to see reason. He longed for reassurance, for a reminder that you were his and his alone.

At that moment, Jeonghan realised the depth of his emotions. He couldn't bear the thought of you slipping away, even in the most innocent of circumstances.

It was as if a veil had been lifted from Jeonghan's eyes, revealing the truth that had been hiding in plain sight all along.

He had spent years gaslighting himself, convincing himself that his feelings for you were nothing more than a habit or a fleeting infatuation.

But deep down, he knew that wasn't the case.

Your absence in his life had started to bother him more than he cared to admit. It wasn't just a matter of missing someone familiar; it was the ache in his heart that only you could fill.

Jeonghan realised that he had been suppressing his true emotions, afraid to confront the depth of his feelings for you.

But now, everything became crystal clear. He loved you, always had, and always would.

The realisation hit him like a tidal wave, overwhelming yet exhilarating. It was a mix of joy and relief, knowing that he could finally embrace his love for you without reservation.

Jeonghan couldn't help but feel a pang of regret for not acknowledging his feelings sooner. He had wasted precious time denying himself the happiness that came with loving you.

But he was determined to make up for lost time. He wanted to show you how much you meant to him, to cherish and protect the love that had been silently growing within him all these years.

With this newfound clarity, Jeonghan was ready to embrace his love for you fully.

He knew that it wouldn't always be easy, but he was willing to fight for your love, to be there for you in every way possible.

It was a revelation that brought him both peace and anxiety, as he embarked on a journey of love and self-discovery with you by his side.

Jeonghan made sure he's going to ask you out on a dinner date. He wants to take this opportunity to show you how much he truly loves you and how important you are to him.

By asking for another chance, he wants to prove his love and commitment to you.

the only thing which bothers him – does he deserve a second chance?
