I decided to be the bigger person in this situation and thought it would be a good idea to DM Hayes.
@MadelineRosier sent a DM to @HayesGrier: Hey, moving into the area and need a tour guide;) respond when you get this maybe?
After realizing how stupid that sounded, I thought that it was no big deal and sent it anyways.
HAYES' POV:
I felt my phone buzz inside of my pants pocket and decided to get it, thinking it wouldn't be just a fan asking for a follow or a shoutout.
I saw that a girl had DM'ed me, but I ignore it since it's probably just another fan.

It's now been a whole day since I sent that DM to Hayes. He hasn't responded, wtf he hasn't even read it! Maybe I should delete it? Does he think I'm a freak? Does he think I'm ugly in my pro pic and not want to open it? But my worst fear is...
Does he think I'm just another fan?
I hope not because until a couple days ago I didn't even know who he was.
I decided to keep the DM there and just wait until the moment was right. As if it was on cue, the gods responded to my wish. I heard my phone vibrate and I looked on the screen
