It was about 11 at night, but I was wide awake. I had changed into black 3/4 length black tracksuit trousers and a white tank top so I was more comfortable. Now that all the guys had gone to bed, an eerie silence had fallen over the dorm. The tv box was whirring softly and the fridge was humming from the kitchen. I felt the urge to go for a walk so tugged on a green sweatshirt over my clothes and headed out of the dorm, my key-card and phone shoved into my trackies pockets. I contemplated putting shoes on, but couldn't be bothered and so padded out in my socks instead.

I headed downstairs to the reception area, it was dimly lit but the receptionist was sat cheerily behind her desk. As I wandered past she called to me.

"Couldn't sleep, love?" She asked. She was an older woman, she had thin wire glasses and a soft smile, her gray-streaked hair pulled back into a loose bun. I smiled and nodded. "Well, we're expecting a new trainee in a few minutes, she's from America and she's learning Korean slowly, if you want, you can show her around? I'm sure she'd appreciate someone who is fluent in her own language rather than someone who can barely speak it..." She explained, pointing at herself. I grinned.

"I would love to, do you know her name?" I asked, sliding over so I was closer to the desk. The woman smiled and I noticed from her tag that her name was DaeMoon. She typed something into her computer and the screen was suddenly full of information and notes.

"The girl is called Kearra, she's 25, from America like I said. She got through in the SM auditions in America but they decided to move her out here for some reason..." She rushed out quickly, her eyes darting back and forth on the page. I hesitated while I waited for my brain to comprehend the Korean. DaeMoon smiled and put her hand on my arm. "I'm sorry, am I speaking too fast? I forget that you're not a native speaker, when I heard you talking to the boys a few days ago it was very fluent... Maybe you could even help teach her Korean! Ooh how convenient!" She smiled at me hopefully and I nodded.

"She'll be here in about 10 minutes, you can go wait on the sofa if you want. Oh, and heres the key card for the trainee dorm, she'll be alone in there at the moment as there are no other trainees." She handed me a keycard and I put in the pocket of my jumper so I wouldn't confuse it with my own, which still had a lovely bright-red lipstick mark on it. I smiled at the memory of that day, Kyu's birthday. I settled on the sofa and played on my phone for a while.

The front door clicked and I heard a voice. "Okay Kearra, this is where I leave you. Your training will start next week so you have a few days to settle in. Go and speak to DaeMoon, she will help show you around." A male voice said in crisp English, he had a Korean accent but it was almost unnoticeable.

"Okay, thank you KangDae." Said a female voice. I turned to face the door as it clicked shut, showing a retreating male form. The girl remained, looking wide eyed around the reception area. From what I could see, she had black wire framed glasses and ginger hair that was streaked with red and blue. She was wearing jogging bottoms and a white graphic tee with a hoody that was hanging open. She wandered over to the desk, not noticing me on the sofas in the corner and in broken Korean asked, "Um, Excuse me... Are you DaeMoon? I'm Kearra...." Her voice was soft and pretty, I can see why she probably passed, her voice sounded musical just when she spoke. I remember someone saying that about me once...

I shook my head, dazed, and rose to my feet. I saw DaeMoon smile and stand up also. She replied in English and I could see the relief on Kearra's face. "Yes, I am DaeMoon, but my English is kind of bad so, since we have an English girl in the building she's gonna show you around! She can also help you learn Korean..." She explained, smiling brightly. Kearra tilted her head to the side and pushed the sleeves on her jumper up.

"Oh okay, thank you! Um... Where is she?" She asked, glancing around. I took a step forward and she noticed me. "Oh! Rayn! I know you! Ha! I saw the stuff going down on twitter, but I didn't ditch you as a fan because; I listen to K-POP too! Ahhh, you're so lucky to get to live with the boys...." She began rambling and I smiled easily.
