I huffed noisily, straightened my shoulders, flipped my hair behind them and turned around, only to see...
Nobody. Great! I glanced around the only people looking at me were random Korean family's shooing their children past me. I heard a few muttering of "crazy girl" and "look what she's wearing" from a group of teen girls. I glared in their direction and they quickly silenced before breaking into giggles when they were past.
As you can probably tell, I'm brilliant at first impressions!
Still, I could see no sign of whoever it was clearing their throat. I shrugged, either I'm hearing things or it wasn't aimed at me. I sighed again, man, I do that a lot. My shoulders re-sagged and I sat back on my bench, forgetting about taking a trip to the map. I put my elbows on my knees and put my head in my hands, I was tired & annoyed. I had been in this beautiful cultural country for what? 10-15 minutes? I was trying to clear my head of the stress that I've had recently and already I've had a mini-rant and glared at people! This was not helping my stress levels in the slightest.... Maybe I should cancel my flight and just go back home again.
I was about to start mentally lecturing myself about the importance of relaxing when the same person cleared their throat again. I'm sure it was the same person, and this time I felt a presence behind me. My eyes narrowed, this had better not be a trick by some random kids.
I huffed, but considerably louder this time, to let whoever it was know I was not in a good mood.
I turned sharply "I really hope you know what you're getting yo-"
Oh. My. God. Let's put it this way, my inner-fangirl was doing backflips.
I stopped my sentence abruptly when I had opened my eyes and taken in what was in front of me.
"Ye...Ye...Yesung!" I finally managed to splutter out. To my surprise, he extended a friendly hand for me to shake, so I took it.
I was star struck, to say the very least.
He gave me a small smile "Hello, nice to meet you." He said with a charming smile, lifting my hand and kissing it. I nearly choked on air.
"You can speak English?" I gasped, blushing a bright raspberry colour as the effects of his touch became more evident.
"Shh..." He whispered, he seemed like he was about to hush my mouth with his finger but thought better of it as we had only just met. "No one else knows, not even the rest of Super Junior, well, Henry does, I practise on heem." I giggled at his mispronuciation of 'him' and his eyes softened. "So, you're an ELF?" He asked whilst smirking at me.
"Now who said that?" I asked innocently while pulling a sweet aegyo face, pouting.
"Well, you did, I heard you say 'Yesung oppa... so cute'.... So does that mean you're a cloud too?"
Uhh.... I grinned without realising. "Maybe..." then I thought, "Wait, does that mean I am the 'beautiful girl at the airport'?" it was my turn to smirk.
"Now," he said pouting, looking hell of a lot cuter than I probably had, "Who said that?"
I giggled along with him. "Ah, that's my line!" I said before quickly starting to add, "By the way.... I'm-"
But again he cut me off.
"You," he said smiling widely "Are Rayn Storm, or should I say, Fallen Princess?" He said, bowing low. My heart exploded, HE KNEW WHO I WAS!!! I think he figured out my shock, it was probably written across my face. "Yes, I listen to Broken Silence, surprised?" WELL YEAH, Just a bit!!!
"Not a bit," I lied smoothly, "we are amazing." But, I mentally added, not as amazing a SuJu!
"Ha, I guess you're right." He laughed "So uhh... Your first time Seoul?"
"Yup" I smiled and shrugged, holding my suitcase in between the two of us. I beamed as I looked around. That reminds me... "I'm still looking for a place to stay though!" and I sighed, AGAIN. I need to stop doing that. I questioned why I told him that, just making conversation, I suppose.
His eyes widened. "Really? Well, we are home for a while, taking a break for a few months, and we have a spare room that's just full of junk...."
Now my eyes grew wide! "OPPA!!!" I said without realising "I cant stay with you! You're superstars, and I'm well, I'm me." I reasoned, there was no way I would be allowed to stay with them, why get my hopes up?
"Actually you're bigger in Korea than you realise." He shrugged. I raised an eye brow; he's kidding, right?
"I'm what?" I quizzed, sure I had misheard. If we were big out here why were there never any concerts booked? I had always wanted to perform in Korea, but it was never booked so I figured we didn't have enough fans here.
"You are big star in Korea" he waggled his arms around to indicate 'big' and I laughed at his grammar fail. He pointed then, to a group of people behind me, they were all crowded around a stall.
"Hmm, I wonder what's happening there." I thought aloud as I walked over, curious to find out what the commotion was about.
Yesung waited by my bag, which I couldn't be bothered to walk around with. He looked so cute up close and it was funny seeing him stood by a large black and red suitcase that was nearly 3/4 of his size. Most people didn't understand how I hauled it around, but I was strong for my size, and generally was just used to it. I hated making people carry my things.
I sidled up to the stall and poked my head over the tops of a few people. At first I couldn't get a good view because there were too many teens in my way, but eventually I saw what it was.
"Oh my god!" I said, my eyes widening until they were probably sticking out of my head. They were selling albums..... Broken Silence albums.... And they were nearly all out. They had obviously been selling quite fast as the man behind the little stall was saying to one of the girls how he had only set up this morning and he'd already sold most of his stock.
I gasped. The cover was me holding my favourite electric guitar, doing my signature evil smile. It was our latest album "Saints are just sinners in disguise", which was the title of one of our songs. This was about the time I noticed that all the teens at the stall were now staring at me, glancing at the cover of the album then back at me with a strange look in their eyes.
"Damn it."
*YESUNGS POV*
I watched as Rayn walked away, she looked back at me and a small smiled played on her lips.
Personally I found her shock quite funny, did she really not know how big Broken Silence were in Korea? I thought she must have been here to promote.... Apparently not. I couldn't believe a rock star like her was an ELF! And a cloud ELF at that, well I hope so anyway.
I looked over at her, she was leaning over the stall and her mouth had formed a large 'O' when she saw and I snickered to myself.
Then I saw every one at the stall turn to look at her. I knew what was about to happen. She was going to get swallowed by fans!
The next thing I know, she's running towards me at full pace, arms flailing, yelling "Ruuuuuuuuun!" When she got to me she expertly flicked up the handle on her suitcase whilst still running and dragged it along with us as we ran.
She shot me a side glance. "Where do we go?" she yelled above the noise of our little crowd all running through the airport. I was slightly confused as to why security hadn't jumped on us yet.
I mouthed back "Follow me, and just keep running."
