*rayns POV*

It had been about half an hour and me, Donghae, Eunhyuk and Yesung had been chatting. I understood most of what they were saying, and if I didn't I just asked them to rephrase it or say it slower.

The conversations were pretty random and any outsiders would have been confused as to what we were on about. I had settled in with these 3 pretty quickly and the others hadn't got back yet. I was glad that our first meeting had been forgotten, and the boys would apologise every few minutes even though I told them it was fine. They were so relaxed it was almost frustrating! They welcomed me into their home like I belonged there, after the initial misunderstanding. We had been laughing at Donghae who had been making fishie faces with his nemo hat on and I was rolling on the floor howling with laughter and clutching my stomach as the 3 of them began tickling me, when the door opened. No one heard it over my screams and the boys laughter.

"Guys, are you torturing Sungmin~ah again?" A soft voice asked, causing the boys to cease tickling my sides. I recognised that voice, tears began to prick my eyes as they misted over, that voice reminded me of my past. Oh god, I knew who that voice belonged to! We all looked up. Heechul, Kyuhyun and Ryeowook were stood there looking down at us. It was Heechul who had addressed us. It wasn't until the 3 boys who had been attacking me stood up that the others noticed that I definitely wasn't Sungmin. Kyuhyun's brow furrowed and Ryeowook looked confused, but oddly Heechul was playing it pretty cool. He had a small smile on his face as he looked at me sprawled on their living room floor, misty eyed and breathing heavily. The light danced in his eyes, and his smile grew into a cute crooked grin as he leaned down and offered me a hand up. I took it and steadied myself. Then we hugged.

"Heechul Oppa! It's great to see you again, I havent seen you in so long!" I cried, burying my face in his soft pink t-shirt. He chuckled and ruffled my hair a little before stopping and moving his hand to my waist instead.

"When was the last time we saw each other?" He asked.

I thought about it "Too damn long." He chuckled at my response.

I know, I should explain huh?

Okay so basically this is the story....

*flashback*

When I was younger I stayed with my grandparents for summer break.

They had just moved to Korea, they were British but enjoyed the culture so made the jump to move out there. They were the kind of crazy grandparents that moved to a place just because they could. They had the money, but couldnt speak the language. I was eager to see what it was like out there so I went out the day after school had ended for the summer. Anyway, we lived next door to a family with a young boy. Me and the boy used to play together all the time. I was 2 years younger but it didn't matter. I learnt Korean from him, and we became good friends. We talked about anything and everything but we both loved music. We told each other about our plans for the future and how we both wanted to be in bands and play music around the world.

One year we had been in his garden under the cherry blossom tree. "Oppa?" I asked nudging him. He had his eyes shut.

His soft hair rustled in the breeze but he didn't respond. "OPPA!" I said louder poking his cheek, this time he opened his eyes. His gaze slid down to meet mine and for a moment me sat in silence, just watching one another.

"Yeah Rayn?" He murmured sleepily. I giggled at him and looked into his eyes, this boy was like a big brother to me.

"Can you promise me something Oppa?" I asked quietly. I looked up at him with aegyo eyes, pouting gently.

He looked down at me and nodded at me. He was sat, with his arms behind him, leaning back onto them. "What is it Rayn?" He asked, concern lacing his words. I pulled my knees up to my chest and hugged them, leaning back onto the tree trunk.
