Much to mine, and Ryeowook's, relief, everyone was very accepting of him. He smiled as he sat down besides Donghae, who gave him a sideways hug. Some of the guys had little smirks on their faces, Leeteuk and Kangin in particular, and something tells me that they had already figured it out. I smiled and went to retrieve Kearra. She was sat on my bed, staring at my guitar in the corner.
"It's such a beautiful instrument, isn't it?" I said, leaning on my door. She turned to face me and smiled, nodding in agreement. I pushed myself of the wall and picked up my guitar, which until now had still been propped in the corner. "Do you play?" I asked, pushing it in her direction. She put her hands up and shook her head.
"No way! My talent is singing, not strumming!" She laughed. I smiled and sat on Yesung's bed with the guitar propped on my knees. I smoothed my hand over its neck and plucked each string to check its tune. I fiddled with the tuning rods and strummed it through, satisfied that it was okay I began plucking at random notes.
"Hey, can you play Classical Gas?" She asked, tilting her head to one side. I nodded and her eyes glittered. "Oh please play it! I love the tune..." She pleaded. I smiled and began to play the familiar notes.
As I played I remember when I got this guitar, back in Year 4. It was huge compared to me and I was dwarfed by it. I had taught myself to play chords and tunes and eventually found myself singing along. I had found my love of music on this guitar, over the years it had become battered and the strings had been replaced too many times to count, but I loved it anyway. Of course, now I was older, it fitted my size.
I strummed the last note and my one-girl audience clapped happily. "Absolutely adore that song." She smiled. I gave her a half-smile and found myself yawning. I glanced at the time on my phone, it's only 2 o clock!
"Hey, Rayn, can we meet SHINee today?" She asked. I thought about it before remembering what Key had said.
"They have a photoshoot today, they won't be back for hours! How about tomorrow?" I explained. She nodded and I stood up, replacing my guitar in it's corner.
"I think I might head back to my dorm for a bit. Tell the guys I said thanks for having me..." She said as I stretched out, yawning again.
"You can tell them as you leave, silly!" I reminded her. She nodded with a goofy smile and we headed back out to the living room and Kearra said her thank yous and good byes. I told her I would walk her down and we headed out.
As we reached the reception we noticed a massive crowd outside. I watched as they yelled stuff at the security guards that were holding them back and away from the building. "I wonder what they are here for..." I said. Kearra pulled what I imagine is her thinky-face and tapped her chin.
"Maybe they are waiting for SHINee to return so they can ambush them?!" She suggested. I laughed, I wouldn't put it past some of the crazier fans to actually try that.... Sasaeng Fans are literally nuts!
"I think they look angry... " I muttered, ignoring it and walking towards the trainee dorm. As I went past the window doors a few of the congregated fans noticed me.
"THERE SHE IS!" One of them screamed, pointing directly at me. I turned to face the door and a few more fans hurled insults in my direction. I smirked, it was cover though, I hated what they were saying about me, why does it matter so much if a celebrity-that probably wouldn't date them even if they were single-has a girlfriend. I guess it makes the fact that they have zero chance so much more real to them.
Kearra stood beside me, staring at the crowd angrily. Knowing that she was on my side was awesome, if any one of those girls out there were in my position, how would they feel?
