*ZhouMi's POV*

Why am I such a terrible cook? It's almost every girls dream to have a guy that can cook, a guy that can wake her up with fresh pancakes or make her brownies for her birthday. I can do none of these things without burning the kitchen down! Kearra's going to break up with me I'm sure.

I tugged the toast out of the toaster and put it on a plate. Turning to face Kearra who was chatting with Sungmin, I asked, "What do you want on it, love?"

She thought for a minute, a soft smile on her face that made her eyes twinkle. She chewed on her bottom lip and tilted her head to one side. "Can I have raspberry jam?"

I checked the cupboards and eventually found some in the fridge. I buttered and jammed the toast and then passed it to her. She took it gratefully and bit into it, the jam squidging around her mouth. She giggled and wiped it away with her finger.

"You're very liberal in the about of jam you put on I see!" She said in a teasing tone. I put too much on! Damn it, I can't even do jam toast right!

"Oh, I'm sorry, do you want me to do it again!" I panicked. She giggled and I looked at her, confused.

"Mimi, I love jam! I don't mind that you put loads on! I like it that way, calm down, okay?" She stood up and hugged me around my waist, rubbing her hands soothingly across my back, I relaxed and rested my head on her shoulder. She patted my back twice and then pulled back, looking into my eyes carefully. "I don't care if you can't cook Mimi." Her voice was sweet and honest and I trusted her. I smiled sheepishly. "Now, I'm going to finish my toast, stop worrying and come sit with me."

As she sat down, Ryeowook walked in and moved to the kitchen. He turned his nose up at the burnt bacon. "Okay, who let Mimi cook again?" He sighed. I grinned at Kearra who rolled her eyes and continued eating.

"Wookie, I forgot to say, I saw your cover of moves like Jagger.... Loved it!" Rayn called from the sofa. Ryeowook blushed and grinned at her.

"Thanks, glad you liked it." He said, he was embarrassed by her praise I could tell. His cheeks had turned crimson and he was smiling to himself as he moved around the kitchen, making his own breakfast.

Rayn was still talking to Kibum and Shindong, laughing over something I couldn't hear, Kearra was talking to Sungmin about his love of aegyo and the other guys were chatting amongst themselves. I sighed and drank some of the water in my glass. Kearra noticed this and turned to me.

"Are you okay Mimi? You sound.... Huffy." She asked, breaking out in a smile that I couldn't help but mirror. Her eyes were twinkling, but they didn't seem happy.... Quite the opposite, they looked sad. I frowned slightly and she tilted her head to one side which she did when she was curious. "Mimi?"

"Oh, nothing. I'm fine, just... Thinking." I answered, breaking the eye contact by looking at the glass in my hand. She move her hand and placed it on my arm, her warmth spreading through it like fire.

"About what?" I looked up at her again to find her staring at me intently. For a moment I was lost in her blue-brown eyes, floating in a lake surrounded with trees in autumn. I shook myself and blinked a few times.

"Oh, um.... I don't really know." I blanked, quickly avoiding her gaze. From the corner of my eye I saw her frown and I hated it. I wanted her to be happy, smiling and laughing. She sighed and moved her hand back into her lap and I missed the warmth it had provided.

"How can you not know what you're thinking?" She muttered. I'm not sure if I was supposed to have heard, but I did. I turned to her and opened my mouth to answer but simply sighed and shut it again.
