Chapter 1: Our Summer Begins Here

CHAPTER 1: OUR SUMMER BEGINS HERE

(Vanessa's POV)

It's finally the end of semester. No more long book reports and exams. Summer's finally here. And shit! We're gonna miss our flight!

"Patricia Marie Parker! Hailey Rae Skywood! Get your fat bums downstairs. NOW! " I yelled at my two bestfriends who were still struggling to fix their things.

"Come on hurry up! We're gonna be late for our flight." I called at them from upstairs.

"Alright! Alright!" Patricia mumbles as she comes down the stairs carrying her luggages.

As always, Hailey was the last one to come down. Me and Patricia were putting our suitcases inside the trunk of Trish's car. We saw Hailey carrying her massive luggage trying her best not to fall down the stairs.

"Is there by any chance a dead body inside that bag?" Trish asked with a chuckle. Hailey, being Hailey just rolled her dark brown eyes.

"Seriously Hails, did you pack your entire closet with you?" I added, this time both Me and Patricia bursted into laughter.

"Both of you just shut up. That's not even half of it, just help me carry those" she said pointing at the bottom of the staircase. We both stopped laughing and groaned in disbelief. We both grabbed her ginormous bags and carried it to the car.

*Flashback*

"Hey! What are you doing to her?" I yelled at a fat, ugly girl who was bullying someone at the hallway. The fat girl just looked at me with a fuming anger plastered on her face.

"Back off b*tch" Hailey growled at her. The fat girl left shooting both of us a nasty look.

"Are you alright?" I asked the girl and helped her to redeem herself.

"Don't mind that fat b*tch. I heard she's adopted!" Hailey added, smiling at the poor girl.

"Thanks guys" she said sniffling.

"No prob honey, by the way, I'm Vanessa and this is Hailey" I flashed her my friendly grin. She smiled shyly at us,

"I'm Patricia"

"From now on, we will call you Trish!" Hails said cheerfully.

"And we will be the bestest friends! Forever! " I said hugging the both of them

*End of Flashback*

(Patricia's POV)

After a long, boring drive to the airport, we finally arrived. We checked in luggages and waited for our flight number to be called. I absent-mindedly bit the insides of my cheek which I usually do when I feel nervous.

"Hey Trish, you alright?" Hailey asked doing her best not to trip with all of those bags that she's carrying. I simply nodded and smiled at her. I tried to shake off the nervous feeling inside me.

Calling all the passngers for flight UK143. Please proceed to gate 7 immediately. Thank You.

"That's our cue" Nessa announced as she grabbed her bag and stood up straightening her skirt. Hailey hopped up and did the same leaving me nervously sitting there.

"Come on! Cheer up! It's our vacation! And we will be meeting some amazingly handsome british lads with their adorable accents!" Hailey squeeled in excitement. I finally agreed and soon we entered the gates that'll take us to a place so called "Paradise." Or so I thought.
