Chapter 14: Liam's Perfectly Imperfect Date

(Trish's POV)

"Today is the day!" I sing-song to myself as I finished fixing and dressing myself up.

Today will be Nessa's date! We are all very excited for her and Liam! Well, technically Liam hasn't asked her out yet cause Hailey said she won't agree to it. Let's just say Vanessa's socially awkward around guys who have asked her out but she's not the weird type though. So Hails decided to make it a surprise date for Ness and I know she'll love it!

"Hey! Patricia! You've been there for ages!" I hear a familiar voice bang on the bathroom door.

"Hello Vanessa!" I greeted her as I opened the door with a wide smile across my face.

"Oh my gosh. You are so weird. How'd you even be my bestfriend?" She asks jokingly while staring at me weirdly.

"Yes, I love you too!" I replied, stepping out of the bathroom.

(Vanessa's POV)

"Yeah? Great! See you then!" I heard Zayn's gleeful voice. I glanced to check on him and he was on the phone talking. I tiptoed my way beside Zayn who was seated on the floor of the porch.

"Guess what?" Zayn turns to me, a grin plastered on his handsome face.

"What?" I say, returning the smile.

"Perrie agreed to go out on a date with me! Isn't that great?" He exclaimed, his eyes full of joy.

"Yeah that's great to hear that you're going on a date. But who's Perrie?" I ask him confused at what he just said.

"Oh. I forgot to tell, Perrie was the girl I was telling you about." He informs me, that smile still on his face.

Realizing that the girl he was talking about wasn't me, I chuckled lightly at myself. I really felt that it was me he was referring to but no! And now I think I'm experiencing some mental breakdown.

"I'm happy for you." I muttered, patting his shoulder and standing up.

"I'm happy for you too." He winks, smirking.

I was confused at what he said but I just shook my head and shrugged it off.

"Hey Vanessa!" I was immediately greeted by Liam as soon as I entered our house but many thoughts were running through ny mind and I was in no mood to have some conversations so I just walked past him. Sorry Li.

I lay flat on my duvet facing the blank ceiling. So many things were on my mind and I'm just mentally confused right now. I don't curse much but fuck this feeling.
