HARRY'S POV

We are now on the other side of the island, away from everyone. On the way here, Hailey and I had been chatting away with each other happily like what two people will do on a date. I can't help but smile while we were talking, the wind was gracefully blowing her hair behind her and she literally looked like a goddess to me.

I jumped off the yacht, my feet landed against the warm sand with a soft thud. I turned and looked at Hailey, who was still on the yacht. She was reluctant to jump and the emotion on her face gave me the idea that something's scaring her off.

"Harry," she murmurs, almost to a whisper.

I chuckled, smiling at her. "You're scared?"

A nervous laugh escaped her mouth, "Pshh, me, scared?" she blathered on.

She looks adorable, I thought.

"Of course I'm scared, Harry! Why else would I be standing here if I'm not!" she shrieked.

I laughed, "You can do it, Hailey." I cheered as I flash her a flirtatious wink.

She stomped her feet like a little child having a tantrum, "I can't," she said. "I am scared of heights." she confessed softly.

"Hailey," I said, looking her directly in her eyes.

"I'll catch you." I told her with a sincere smile.

She hesitated again and shakes her head.

"I'll catch you." I repeated again, this time arching my arms.

"You promise?" she asked, her voice tinged with worry.

"I promise." I smiled reassuringly at her.

HAILEY'S POV

"I promise." he said with a genuine smile on his face and I can't help but give in to this cheeky man.

I take a couple of short breaths before closing my eyes just a fraction of a second.

I opened them once again and primed myself for the fall.

And that's what happened, the moment I jumped off the edge of the yacht, I fell for Harry Styles.

Literally and emotionally.

Strong, warm and large hands held my waist protectively and I was on my feet. I avert my gaze from the sand to his face and he was smiling at me like the biggest tease in the world.

"Told you." he whispered in my ear, his breath sending tingles all over my skin.

I slapped his chest playfully, "And I believed you." I said with a giggle.

We walked hand in hand towards the pier where the carnival was. The sun was slightly beginning to descend and the sky was a pale blue, pink and orange. It was breathtaking.

Not too long after, the smell of candyfloss and burnt popcorn hit my nostrils. I smiled and Harry squeezed my hand.

"I want a candyfloss!" he screamed, dragging me across the carnival to where the candyfloss vendor was.

We fooled around with candyfloss in our hands and unending laughter erupting from our mouths.. We took silly pictures together, rode different amusement rides just having a splendid time.

He then grabbed my hand and led me back to the beach where a picnic mat, a picnic basket and a bonfire was lying on the sand. We walked closer and I noticed that red and pink velvety petals were scattered all over the place and it was so romantic, I wanted to hug Harry but I kept my cool and just continued to admire the beautiful scene in my head.

"Mademoiselle," Harry said bowing down, his accent lilting.

I raised an eyebrow, "Vanessa made it clear that this is nothing but a friendly date, right?"

He creased his eyebrows together, deep in thought before smiling wickedly at me. "Of course," For a second, disappointment washes over me and I can't help but frown but then I shook the thought away.

I watch him intently as he fills my plate with perfectly prepared vegetables, finely grilled meat and my favorite -- home made fajitas. This guy is something!

"Thank you. Aren't you going to have any?" I queried, grabbing my fork and knife from the knitted basket beside me.

"Of course," he smiled. "But mostly I made it for you." he said warmly and sealed it with yet another wink.

"That's delicious, Harry. Thank you." I murmur, setting my plate aside.

Harry is lying on his elbow in front of me. Oh boy, he looks so hot.

"T'was my pleasure, Hailey, you know that." He smirked and I flush.

"But that's not the end of it," he states and he sits up excitedly and I smile.

Behind him is a small red basket but I can't tell what's inside, "Close your eyes, Hailey." He gazes down at me, eyes glowing.

"This better be good, Harry." I said before closing my eyes.

"No peeking." he whispers, his breath was in my neck and desire explodes all over my body.

I bit on my lip, "Hmm," A soft chuckle erupts from his mouth and he starts to move beside me.

The anticipation is killing me. "Now open your mouth, Hailey." Weird, but still I oblige.

Parting my lips slightly, he places something inside and I taste the sweet chocolate coated strawberry melt against my tongue. Hmmmm

"Now you can open those beautiful eyes," he commands and once again his words made my heart flutter but deep down inside I am terrified.

"More?" he asked and I nod eagerly at him. His eyes twinkled as he feed me another strawberry.

"Why are you doing this?" I whisper as I stare straight into his breathtaking green eyes.

He froze in his place and then he furrows his brow at me, puzzled. "Doing this?" he laughed the words out as if hiding something.

"Is there something wrong with this?" he asked sardonically. Woah, now I have to answer him

I sigh, "No, but.. what," I stutter, making a complete fool out of myself.

"I asked you first, I get the answer first."

He shakes his head, "You're making things complicated, Hailey." he murmurs.

"What?" I queried, bemused.

"Why ask such a question when everything's perfectly fine?" he retorted, raking his hand through his hair.

"That's why I asked you in the first place, don't tell me I'm making things more complicated." I snap, irritation flowing all throughout my system.

"We would'nt be dealing with all this complications if you never said that," he said voice rising.

"Then let me uncomplicate things for you, Harry." I mumble petulantly.

"You frighten the hell out of me, Harry." I exhale. I hadn't realized I'd been holding my breath.

He closes his eyes briefly as he struggles to take in my words.

"I frighten you?" he asked, at a complete loss.

I sigh, "Yes."
