"Ryuunosuke! I have lunch!" Exclaimed Gin as she entered the house. Ryunosuke rose to his feet to greet his sister and began to organise dinner. Just then Ryuunosuke's phone began to ring, Gin went to investigate as he had left it on the coffee table next to the sleeping Weretiger."Ryuunosuke, Nakahara-san is calling you." Ryuunosuke waved his hand in dismissal, he would ring the executive later. The next few minutes were spent in silence as the siblings ate their lunches.
"Have you heard from Higuchi?" Gin asked her brother, breaking the silence. Ryuunosuke rolled his eyes slightly. "Yes. She is testing my patience at times." Gin laughed slightly at her brother's comment. "What's so funny?" He asked in a somewhat annoyed tone. "Oh nothing, just how oblivious you are." She smiled and continued to eat her lunch. "What do you mean by oblivious?" Gin sighed at how incompetent her brother could be at times.
"Hasn't her attitude towards you changed slightly?" Ryuunosuke pondered slightly before shrugging his shoulders. "I believe she has been reducing her 'advances' on me. But nothing else comes to mind." Gin placed her head on the table in exasperation. Then rolled her head slightly so she could see her brother's face.
"Have you listened to anything she has said, besides work?" Ryuunosuke shook his head instantly. "I care not for my co-workers social lives, aside from Chuuya-san." Gin was beginning to give up on trying to explain this to her brother when a knock was heard upon the door.
"Probably the neighbours as usual." Complained Ryuunosuke as he rose from his seat and made his way to the door. He didn't even think to check through the eyepiece of the door. So when he was greeted by a ginger mafia member he was well surprised.
"Honestly, what's the point of you having a phone if you don't answer?" Ryuunsokue was shocked at his superiors sudden appearance, however he was more concerned on what he would do if he found out the Weretiger was currently on his sofa.
"Chuuya-san how unexpected. What brings you here?" Ryuunosuke had to ensure he said his superiors name to give Gin a hint to move the Weretiger. "Well like I said, you weren't answering your phone. Sorry to just turn up out of the blue, can I discuss something with you inside?" Ryuunosuke began to panic even more, he wasn't sure if Gin had moved the Weretiger or not. But if he stalled then Chuuya would begin to get suspicious.
"Of course." Ryuunosuke opened the door wide and allowed Chuuya inside. Chuuya was ahead of him as they walked down the hallway, so he had no way to prevent Chuuya seeing the Weretiger anymore. However, as they entered the living room he was greeted by Gin still eating her lunch. She rose to her feet and bowed in acknowledgement.
"No need for that Gin, I'm just here to ask the pair of you something?" The pair began to feel worry to stir in both their guts. How did the Mafia know of their actions from this morning so quickly? Did Mori know? What was going to happen to them?
"So, why were the pair of you at the Detective Agency this morning?" The siblings turned their heads away, refusing to answer. "If you're worried about the boss knowing, he doesn't." That shocked the pair of them.
"Wait if he doesn't know then how do you know?" Ryuunosuke questioned, Chuuya chuckled at him. "Ane-san was informed by someone, however I don't know who. She then informed me, and as you are my subordinate it's now my responsibility." The siblings nodded in acknowledgement.
"So why were you both at the Detective Agency this morning?" Ryuunosuke curled his first inwards, his knuckles turned paler than him. Chuuya nodded knowing he wouldn't get an answer out of the pair.
"Fair enough, don't tell me." He collapsed into the sofa with ease. "But do tell why there is white hair on the sofa?" He picked up a couple of fine white hairs from the edge of the sofa. They had no clue as to why the executive spotted those small hairs. "Their mine." Ryuunosuke spitted out which Chuuya struggled to believe.
"I'd like to believe that but they are way too long to belong to you." The siblings still refused to speak. "Fine, if you won't tell me I guess I won't inform you of a joint case that myself and a member of the detective agency have been working on." This piqued the interest of the siblings.
"What case?" Ryuunosuke asked with no seconds wasted. "First you tell me who these hairs belong to and I'll tell you more." This troubled the pair, they had no interest in letting anyone know about Atsushi's condition. Not that he knew about the incident at the cafe.
"I had a guy over, after all you said I should try and interact with others." Ryuunosuke crossed his arms across his chest to make it slightly more believable. "True, I did say that. I still don't believe you but I'll go with that for now." Chuuya sat himself properly on the sofa, patting the seat next to him to have Ryuunosuke join him. Gin settled herself in an armchair nearby.
"Right, so the case I have been working on consists of the Weretiger." The siblings each felt a bead of sweat drip down the side of their head. "A few weeks ago Atsushi Nakajima disappeared while out wandering with his mentor Dazai. The pair were ambushed by ability users from what we have learned. They kidnapped Nakajima and Dazai for a period of time." This took them both by surprise. Dazai, the formerly known demon prodigy, was captured? They couldn't believe it.
"You both look shocked? Do you have any idea how many times that man allowed himself to be captured?" Chuuya shook his head at old memories of the idiot allowing himself to be captured.
"Anyway, the agency began to worry about the absence of Atsushi. They said it was normal for Dazai to disappear for a couple of days and then return. However, after three days they began to look into their disappearances. Then they realised the pair had been kidnapped, but however many leads they followed they never got anywhere, even that detective brat couldn't locate them. Until four days later when Dazai returned to them covered in his own blood, he apparently made it to the agency door and collapsed." Chuuya seemed to curl his fist inwards but relaxed after a second.
"He was unconscious for a full day, the doctor couldn't use her ability on him so it was a sit and wait game for the members. When he finally came to, he explained what we know so far. However, due to an impact to his head some memories of the incident were blurry to him and he couldn't recall anymore." Chuuya collapsed backwards into the sofa, "The damn idiot is so stupid though, he won't even rest. He immediately requested that he be assigned the mission. Alone; he didn't want the Agency members to put off cases they had for the citizens. The Detective Agency boss agreed however he requested that a member of the mafia be put on the case as it sounded like something we would know about. And Boss decided I was the best suited for the job, due to our past." Chuuya sighed in annoyance, however Ryuunoskue thought it sounded forced.
