Our Sanctuary

Part 2: The Hidden Garden

This garden was my favorite spot. Walang ibang taong nakakaalam sa garden na ito kundi ako lang. This was located somewhere far away from everyone. I discovered this since I was a kid. Simula noon ay dito na ako palagi pumupunta kapag kailangan ko ng peace of mind and some alone time for myself.

When I got here, I was shocked to see someone sitting beside the fountain.

How did this happen? Akala ko ba ay I was the only one who knew about this garden...

I approached the boy and I saw that he was writing something on a notebook. He suddenly faced me and I was left speechless when I saw his angelic face.

He was indeed handsome..

"H-Hi"

I got back into my senses when he uttered a greeting on me.

I smiled at him, "H-Hello, uhm... So, alam mo rin pala yung spot na 'to?"

He smiled and that's the most heart melting smile I've ever seen.

"Yeah, I used to go here when I was a kid. This is place became my favorite spot for it was peaceful. Really far away from chaos." he let out a slight laugh. "This is the only place where I got to escape reality."

Oh.. So we have a similar reason why we go here pala..

"Wow, I—uhm.." Hindi ko alam ang sasabihin ko. Naba-blanko ako dahil sa titig nya.

"So, ikaw? How did you find this place?"

"Uhm.. Same lang sayo. I always go here to escape pressure and stress. This place is my Sanctuary." I laughed.

He smiled at me and offered me to sit beside him. "Deiviel Tranza" He offered his hand and wait for me to introduce myself.

"Zyrea Laviana" kinuha ko ang kamay niya and then we shake hands.

We talked for hours and I am glad to have a new person in my life na alam kong mapagkakatiwalaan ko. He didn't know that I was an actress and a model. Finally, a person who wanted to know me not just because of my career. Deiviel was sweet, gentleman and smart. He is studying medicine at a famous University.

As time went by, I got to know him more and he got to know me also.

I skipped my schedules this day at wala akong sinipot kahit isa. I don't care what they'll do to me once I returned on our place. Ang mahalaga ngayon, I got the peace that I've been dreaming of.

Namalayan ko na it's almost past 6 pm kaya I told Deiviel that I need to go home. He insisted to drive me home pero sabi ko 'wag na, dala ko rin naman ang sasakyan ko. He smiled at me genuinely and that made my heart melt.

"So, uhm.. good bye? I hope we can meet more often.."

"Of course, I'll text you whenever I'm free. Bye Deiviel!"

He nodded and waved me goodbye as I left, driving my car.
