Part 6: The Fading Hope

[Deiviel's POV]

Kinakabahan ako. This is the day na magco-confess ako kay Zyrea. I think I'm ready to tell her everything.

I hope she'll give me a chance.

Nang makarating ako sa garden, I was confused kasi wala pa si Zy. She was never late and actually siya nga ang laging nauunang dumating sa aming dalawa.

Pero hindi ko ginawang big deal iyon. Baka medyo late lang siya because of some important matter.

Patagal nang patagal ay lalo akong kinabahan.

Fuck.. Bakit ang bilis ng tibok ng puso ko..

I've waited for hours pero she never showed up. I rested my head on my arms while waiting for her, hoping that she'd show up. Pinatong ko muna yung arms ko sa gilid ng fountain and there I fell asleep.

Nahimasmasan ako when I felt someone touched my hand. Hinimas niya rin ang buhok ko where I felt so comfy.

Zy..?

But when I opened my eyes, there was no one there. Maybe I'm just imagining things kasi I miss her already.

It's almost 8 pm pero there's no sign of Zyrea. I texted her for a couple of times pero kahit isang reply wala.

Darating ka pa ba Zy...?

I waited until 9 pm pero wala talaga. I guess this is a sign na I should go home.

I'll try to go here tomorrow, baka makita ko pa siya.

Umuwi ako then I checked my phone to see if she texted back pero there's still nothing.

I sighed and sat on the couch where I opened the television.

And that's when I felt like my world was falling apart.
