[40 years have passed]
"Dr. Tranza, are you okay? You looked pale."
I held my heart nang maramdaman kong sumisikip ito.
"No, no. I'm okay. Please do check the patient on room 305, she needs to be discharged later on." I told the nurse.
I just ignored what I felt and got back to work.
Pero I didn't know na my heart was weaker than I imagined..
"Dr. Tranza! Dr. Tranza! Wake up!"
Those were the last words that I heard before completely losing consciousness.
"Deiviel? I missed you.." I opened my eyes to see Zyrea's gorgeous face.
"Zy.. You came back.." I held her face as she smiled at me.
"Of course I came back.. Palagi akong babalik sa'yo Deiv.."
"Wag mo na ulit akong iwan, mag sama na tayo habang buhay Zy.."
I closed my eyes and when I opened it again, Zy was gone. All I can see are some doctors and nurses reviving me.
I forgot.. Zy was just a dream nalang pala..
I closed my eyes once again..
kung panaginip nalang si Zyrea, this will be a dream from which I never wanted to wake up. Here, I would gladly sleep for the rest of my life if that's what it takes to be with her.
