Dear Diary,

I'm sorry for not being able to write to you as frequently as I usually do. These past few days have been quite overwhelming with tests and exams that seemed to come out of nowhere. I didn't anticipate them catching me off guard like this, and I apologize for not being able to share my thoughts and experiences with you.

A lot has happened in the course of the past week. In the midst of the chaos of studying and preparing for assessments, I managed to plan a wonderful evening for me and my girls. It was a decent and much-needed break from all the academic pressure.

I'll tell you about it...

Since the year is drawing to a close, I wanted to make the most of our time together and create unforgettable memories. So, I decided to plan a night out with Sara and Melanie. Yes, I made sure to invite Melanie too, despite Sara's initial sort of jealousy towards her. It took some convincing, but I managed to help Sara realize that Melanie wasn't someone to hate or to feel intimidated by. All she needed was our love and support, and together we could provide that.

What I've always admired about Sara is how easygoing and flexible she is. She might have her moments of doubt or jealousy, but once she sees the reason, she's on board. And this time was no different.

The night arrived, and the three of us got ready. We wanted to make this night special, so we dressed like the decent and sophisticated girls we are. The outfits we chose gave off a vibe of rich sisters, and I couldn't help but smile at how well we complemented each other.

As we stepped out for the night, the excitement was all over the place. Our laughter filled the air as we reminisced about the year gone by and talked about our plans for the future. It was clear that we were living in the moment, cherishing each second we spent together. Throughout the night, I watched as Sara and Melanie bonded more and more. It was heartwarming to see them connect and form a genuine friendship. Melanie's presence brought out a different side of Sara, one that was even more compassionate and open-hearted.

We danced, shared stories, and made new memories that would undoubtedly stay with us forever. As the night came to an end, I couldn't help but feel grateful for the friendships I had. And as we parted ways that night, I knew that our bond was stronger than ever. The night out had brought us closer together, and I couldn't wait to see what the future held for our trio.

There's so much more to share with you...like the Sunday Mark and I went to church.

This is what actually happened...

The sun was casting a warm glow as Mark and I headed to church that morning. The atmosphere in the church was serene, and as the sermon began, I found myself captivated by the words being spoken. It was as if the preacher's message was meant just for me, addressing the thoughts and emotions that have been swirling within me.

Mark and I shared glances throughout the sermon, exchanging subtle smiles and nods of agreement. It felt like a shared moment of connection, an unspoken understanding of the significance of what we were hearing. As the service concluded, we left the church with a sense of peace and contentment.

But as the day went on, I couldn't shake off the feeling of speechlessness. Mark has really been portraying the characters of the kind of man I pray for everyday... But also, it still left me wondering why he was suddenly everything I have been hoping for. Was he genuinely being the person I wanted him to be, or was there something else at play? It's a confusing place to be, Diary, torn between the hope that things are finally falling into place and the fear that it might be too good to be true.

But anyway...I know it's important to keep in touch with you, even when life gets busy. I promise to make more time to write and share, especially now that the tests and exams are gradually coming to an end.

Here's to more writing and sharing in the coming days.

With love,

Iyaloo
